The posting

De dienst gezinszorg “Beter Thuis” van het Wit-Gele Kruis Limburg helpt cliënten om langer in hun vertrouwde thuisomgeving te verblijven. Het accent van onze dienstverlening ligt op begeleiding en ondersteuning van de cliënt. Hierbij staan we ook familie en mantelzorgers bij om een optimale thuissituatie te behouden.

Als verzorgende bied je hulp aan personen met een hulpvraag in de thuissituatie. De doelgroep is erg gevarieerd: personen van verschillende leeftijden, met een (fysieke of mentale) beperking, met dementie, psychiatrische cliënten, palliatieve cliënten,.. In het kader van uitbreiding van uren, medewerkers die op welverdiend pensioen gaan en een toenemend aantal aanvragen van cliënten zijn we op dit moment op zoek naar gemotiveerde en enthousiaste collega's voor volgende regio:

Regio: Zonhoven, Hasselt, Diepenbeek, Wellen, Sint-Truiden, Gingelom, Heers.

Dit houdt in dat je een gevarieerd takenpakket hebt:

  • je biedt psychosociale ondersteuning aan jouw cliënten: je staat de cliënt en mantelzorger bij door een luisterend oor te bieden en te helpen met eenvoudige administratieve taken (betalingen, documenten helpen invullen,...); samen met hen ga je op zoek naar hun noden en wensen op een creatieve manier bezorg je de cliënt een aangename tijdsinvulling op maat (bv. wandelen, schilderen, iets gaan drinken, samen muziek maken, een daguitstap maken, samen bakken of koken,...)
  • je staat in voor verzorgende taken, zoals: detailzorg en verwenzorg (voetbaden geven, haar-en nagelverzorging, (hand)massages geven,...) hulp bij aan- en uitkleden, vervangen van incomateriaal, toiletbezoek en bij het verplaatsen
  • je verricht specifieke huishoudelijke taken, zoals: bedopschik wassen en strijken eten klaarmaken samen boodschappen doen wij doen geen grote poetstaken (bv. ramen wassen, volledige kamers dweilen,...)
  • je werkt samen met interne en externe partners: interne partners: collega’s binnen de dienst, (referentie)verpleegkundigen, zorgkundigen, logistiek medewerkers, diëtisten,... externe partners: artsen, maatschappelijke diensten (bv. OCMW, thuisbegeleidingsdiensten,...), instellingen, huishouddiensten,...
  • je werkt regionaal in een goed georganiseerd wijkteam, d.w.z. dat je ook buiten je eigen gemeente hulp gaat bieden aan cliënten. Met de collega’s van dit wijkteam heb je om de 6 weken een werkoverleg
  • je werkt met flexibele werkuren één op de twee weekenden en de helft van de feestdagen ben je vrij in een vast roulement Je bent de ene week inzetbaar tussen 8u en 18u en de andere week tussen 12u en 22u, afhankelijk van de zorgaanvragen.
  • je bent in het bezit van een diploma dat toegang geeft tot een inschrijvingsnummer als verzorgende, zoals bepaald door de Vlaamse overheid.   • je bent in het bezit van een rijbewijs B
