The posting

At Warner Music Group, we’re a global collective of music makers and music lovers, tech innovators and inspired entrepreneurs, game-changing creatives and passionate team members. Here, we turn dreams into stardom and audiences into fans. We are guided by three core values that underpin everything we do across all our diverse businesses:

  • Curiosity: We do our best work when we’re immersing ourselves in culture and breaking through barriers. Curiosity is the driving force behind creativity and ingenuity. It fuels innovation, and innovation is the key to our future.
  • Collaboration: Making music and bringing it to the world is all about the power of originality amplified by teamwork. A great idea, like a great song, travels globally. We ignite passions and build connections across our diverse community of artists, songwriters, partners, and fans.
  • Commitment: We pursue excellence for our team and our talent. Everything in music starts with a leap into the unknown, and we’re committed to keeping the faith, acting with integrity, and delivering on our promises.

WMG is home to a wide range of artists, musicians, and songwriters that fuel our success. That is why we are committed to creating a work environment that actively values, appreciates, and respects everyone. We encourage applications from people with a wide variety of backgrounds and experiences.

Consider a career at WMG and get the best of both worlds – an innovative global music company that retains the creative spirit of a nimble independent.

A little bit about our team:

WMX is Warner Music Group’s merchandise and e-commerce services division, focused on helping artists connect with fans through merchandise, physical music, touring, VIP ticketing, retail, licensing and direct-to-consumer experiences. We work at the intersection of creativity and commerce, partnering with artists, managers, and label teams to build thoughtful, high-quality products and experiences that fans care about, and marketing them to drive revenue and add value to our clients business. From artist stores and limited-edition vinyl to tour merchandise and global retail programs, we treat merch and physical products as meaningful extensions of an artist’s creative vision.

WMX combines the global scale of Warner Music Group with an entrepreneurial, hands-on approach. We value collaboration, ownership, and curiosity, and we’re building a forward-thinking team that’s excited to evolve how artists reach and engage their audiences.

Your Role:

As the e-Commerce Store Manager, you will serve as the liaison between our internal operations team, record labels, and artist management, acting as the ultimate anchor for our artist merchandise and music retail footprint. In partner will bridge the gap between an artist’s creative vision and flawless digital execution, managing the lifecycle of online storefronts for global brands. This role demands a highly organized, client-facing professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment where music, merchandise, and digital retail intersect. You will own the client relationship for e-commerce, guiding label leads and artist managers through master data requirements, international demand planning, Go-To-Market (GTM) deployments, and high-stakes approval loops.

Here you’ll get to:

GTM Campaign Strategy & Deployment

● Partner directly with Artist & Label Services to translate their GTM strategies into live, active digital retail experiences that are timed perfectly with music releases, tour announcements, and merchandise drops.

● Manage client expectations and own the deployment pipeline to ensure all product launches and time-sensitive campaigns hit strict, unyielding dates.

Data Management & Client Onboarding

● Serve as a point of contact for labels regarding product metadata, pricing, and assets, ensuring their vision is accurately captured within one centralized Master Product Grid.

● Consult with client teams on SKU configurations and submit all new storefront setup requests via Airtable to Operations, ensuring zero friction between the client's requests and our technical execution.

Global Demand Consultation

● Collaborate proactively with the International teams on global stock volume needs for upcoming music and merchandise releases.

● Provide data-driven insights to label partners, factoring cross-border demand and international market nuances directly into production planning to optimize global inventory and prevent stockouts.

Visual Merchandising & Sign-Off

● Lead direct review sessions with Artist Managers and Label Leads, presenting dynamic thematic updates across digital storefronts to ensure visual merchandising perfectly aligns with the artist’s specific brand era and campaign aesthetics.

● Shepherd storefront designs and product layouts through executive approval loops, actively managing feedback and securing explicit green lights from external stakeholders before pushing changes live.

About You:

● 3-5+ years of experience managing digital storefronts (such as Shopify) specifically within the music industry, entertainment, or artist merchandise sectors.

● Advanced proficiency with Airtable and master data management; a proven track record of maintaining clean, complex data sets.

● Strong project management skills with a demonstrated ability to pivot quickly and hit hard deadlines aligned with fast-moving music release cycles.

● Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the comfort and tact required to navigate approval loops involving managers, labels, and creative teams.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
