The posting

Our client, an established Mechanical & Electrical engineering company in Singapore, is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead and execute electrical works within its switchboard manufacturing operations.

The role combines hands-on electrical troubleshooting and installation work with supervision and technical guidance of the team.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute electrical works for the manufacturing of electrical switchboards.
  • Work with switchboard systems including MSB, MCC, SB, DB and PLC panels.
  • Perform electrical troubleshooting and fault diagnosis.
  • Execute and supervise switchboard electrical installation works.
  • Ensure electrical works comply with applicable safety standards and requirements.
  • Coordinate with team members to ensure assigned jobs are completed on schedule.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide practical solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
  • Remain hands-on in electrical works while supervising day-to-day job execution.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience in switchboard electrical works.
  • Strong hands-on experience with electrical troubleshooting and fault diagnosis.
  • Experience with MSB, MCC, SB, DB and PLC panels is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of switchboard electrical installation works.
  • Able to work independently and manage factory-floor / operational situations.
  • Familiarity with Singapore electrical safety requirements and local industry practices.
  • Good leadership, coordination and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to provide technical guidance to electrical team members.

Working Arrangement

  • 5.5-day work week.
  • Exact daily working hours will be shared during the interview process.
