The posting

Our client, an established engineering company specialising in semiconductor and high-tech industrial engineering solutions, is seeking an experienced Project Manager (Semiconductor Engineering) to lead and oversee engineering projects from planning through successful completion.

The successful candidate will be responsible for project execution, cost management, resource planning, technical coordination and stakeholder management, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget and in accordance with quality standards.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage semiconductor engineering projects from planning, execution and monitoring through completion and handover.
  • Develop detailed project schedules, budgets, milestones and resource allocation plans.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure timely achievement of key deliverables.
  • Manage project risks, technical issues, scope changes and escalations.
  • Coordinate with engineering teams, contractors, suppliers, customers and other stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular project meetings and provide progress reports to management and customers.
  • Monitor project expenditure, resource utilisation and cost performance.
  • Ensure project execution complies with company quality standards, technical specifications and customer requirements.
  • Manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining delivery commitments.
  • Drive continuous improvement in project execution and operational efficiency.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Manufacturing or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of project management or relevant experience in the semiconductor industry.
  • Strong project planning, scheduling, execution and coordination skills.
  • Experience managing engineering projects, cross-functional teams and project resources.
  • Good understanding of project budgeting, cost control and risk management.
  • Strong stakeholder management, leadership and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant project management tools.
  • Proficiency in English and Mandarin to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking project stakeholders and counterparts in China.
