The posting

Working Arrangement:

  • Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Alternate Saturday: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM
  • Site attendance may be required outside regular working hours depending on project requirements.

Job Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate and oversee commercial and residential carpentry, renovation and interior fit-out projects from commencement to completion.
  • Review project drawings, specifications, quotations and work scopes to ensure accurate project planning.
  • Develop project schedules, manpower plans, work programmes and material requirements.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed according to agreed schedules, quality standards and specifications.
  • Coordinate with site supervisors, carpenters, installers, designers, suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Arrange site measurements, material deliveries, installation activities and project schedules.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor workmanship, quality, safety and project progress.
  • Identify and resolve site-related issues, technical challenges and project delays.
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently and prioritise activities to meet project deadlines.
  • Liaise with clients on project requirements, progress updates and operational matters.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Project Management, Construction, Building, Interior Design or related disciplines is preferred.
  • Relevant experience in project coordination or project management within carpentry, renovation, interior fit-out or construction.
  • Good knowledge of carpentry fabrication, installation methods, materials and finishes.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural, shop and technical drawings.
  • Strong project coordination, planning and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to manage multiple projects independently and work within tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant project management software.
  • Possession of a valid driving licence is an advantage.
  • Able to attend to urgent project or site matters when required.
