Job Description

Our client, an established construction company in Singapore, is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support construction costing, contract administration, project budgeting and progress claims.

The successful candidate will manage commercial documentation, subcontractor quotations and project cost monitoring throughout construction projects.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform quantity take-offs and prepare tender cost estimates and quotations.
  • Review construction drawings and project specifications for pricing and quantity measurements.
  • Evaluate subcontractors' quotations and prepare cost comparisons.
  • Handle general construction contract administration.
  • Prepare subcontracting and purchasing documentation.
  • Monitor project budgets, expenditure and cost performance.
  • Prepare progress claims and evaluate subcontractor payment submissions.
  • Maintain accurate records of project costs, claims, payments and contractual documents.
  • Prepare monthly costing updates, budget reports and payment records.
  • Coordinate with project teams and subcontractors to resolve commercial matters.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Building or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant construction industry experience.
  • Hands-on experience in quantity take-offs, tender pricing and cost estimation.
  • Familiar with construction contract administration, progress claims and subcontractor payment procedures.
  • Knowledge of project budgeting and construction cost control.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with CCS PO/WO Module.
  • Good analytical, communication, organisational and negotiation skills.
  • ISO Internal Auditor Certification is an advantage.
