Ben jij een technisch sterke projectleider die graag het volledige traject van ontwerp tot oplevering beheert? Voor een innovatieve machinebouwer in West-Vlaanderen zoeken we een Mechanical Project Leader die mechanische expertise combineert met organisatorisch inzicht en projectverantwoordelijkheid.

Je krijgt de kans om uitdagende maatwerkprojecten zelfstandig te begeleiden, waarbij je nauw samenwerkt met klanten, engineering en productie. Je behoudt de technische diepgang, maar krijgt tegelijk de vrijheid om projecten van A tot Z in goede banen te leiden.

Wat Ga Je Doen?

  • Je begeleidt mechanische machinebouwprojecten van de eerste technische analyse tot de uiteindelijke installatie en oplevering bij de klant.
  • Je bespreekt technische vereisten met klanten en vertaalt hun verwachtingen naar praktische, haalbare en kostenefficiënte oplossingen.
  • Je denkt mee over de ontwikkeling van machineconcepten, mechanische constructies en technische lay-outs.
  • Je coördineert de werkzaamheden van engineers en ontwerpers en zorgt voor een vlotte samenwerking tussen de verschillende afdelingen.
  • Je blijft nauw betrokken bij het mechanisch ontwerp en ondersteunt waar nodig bij 3D-modellen, technische tekeningen en ontwerpbeslissingen.
  • Je bewaakt de projectplanning, budgetten en kwaliteitsvereisten en grijpt tijdig in wanneer bijsturing nodig is.
  • Je volgt de productie, assemblage en montage op en zorgt ervoor dat technische uitdagingen efficiënt worden opgelost.
  • Je onderhoudt contacten met leveranciers en externe partners en volgt gemaakte afspraken rond levertermijnen en kwaliteit nauwgezet op.
  • Je ondersteunt de commerciële afdeling bij technische calculaties, offertes en het uitwerken van nieuwe projectvoorstellen.
  • Je houdt rekening met de financiële haalbaarheid van projecten en zoekt voortdurend naar de ideale verhouding tussen kwaliteit, kostprijs en technische uitvoerbaarheid.

Wie Ben Je?

  • Je beschikt over een bachelor of master in elektromechanica, mechanica, industrieel ontwerp of een vergelijkbare technische richting, of bent gelijkwaardig door ervaring.
  • Je hebt relevante ervaring binnen mechanische engineering, machinebouw of projectopvolging, bijvoorbeeld als Project Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Projectleider of Design Engineer.
  • Je beschikt over een grondige kennis van mechanische constructies, machineonderdelen en technische productieprocessen.
  • Je hebt bij voorkeur ervaring met klantspecifieke machines, industriële automatisering of complexe mechanische installaties.
  • Je kunt vlot overweg met 3D-CAD-software. Ervaring met Creo is een pluspunt, maar geen vereiste.
  • Je combineert een analytische en technische ingesteldheid met sterke organisatorische vaardigheden.
  • Je communiceert professioneel met klanten, leveranciers en interne technische teams.
  • Je hebt oog voor budgetten, deadlines en kwaliteit en denkt oplossingsgericht mee over technische uitdagingen.
  • Je neemt graag initiatief, werkt zelfstandig en voelt je comfortabel met het dragen van projectverantwoordelijkheid.
  • Ook wanneer je momenteel voornamelijk als Mechanical Designer of Project Engineer werkt en wilt doorgroeien naar een bredere projectrol, kom je in aanmerking.
