WZC St. Medard is met 65 woongelegenheden, 12 assistentiewoningen en ongeveer 70 enthousiaste collega’s een kleinschalig woonzorgcentrum waar zorg en gezelligheid hand in hand gaan. Hier draait alles rond een warme, familiale sfeer waarin onze bewoners zich écht thuis voelen. Waar niemand een nummer is, maar een gewaardeerde collega of bewoner.

Wie jij bent

Jij bent iemand die van nature positiviteit uitstraalt en die met empathie en discretie anderen omringt. Je bent gedreven, pakt uitdagingen vast met beide handen en hebt de gave om mensen te motiveren met jouw enthousiasme. Stress? Dat schrikt jou niet af. Verantwoordelijkheid? Die draag je met trots.

Planningen opmaken, coördineren, organiseren en leidinggeven zitten in jouw vingers en je doet het met een neutrale, professionele houding. Kwalitatieve zorg draag je hoog in het vaandel en je staat graag in dienst van anderen. Je werkt vlot samen, maar bent even goed in zelfstandig handelen.

Jouw functie

Als hoofdverpleegkundige:

  • stuur je de eenheid residentiële ouderenzorg aan en zorg je voor een vlot dagelijks functioneren; coach je medewerkers en maak je de personeelsplanning op; bewaak en optimaliseer je de kwaliteit van zorg en dienstverlening; verzeker je een correcte interne en externe communicatie rond zorgdossiers; neem je zowel verpleegkundige als zorgkundige taken op.

Jouw profiel

  • Je hebt een (gelijkgesteld) bachelor of master in de verpleegkunde;
  • Je beschikt over een postgraduaat kaderopleiding hoofdverpleegkundige of postgraduaat / banaba in het zorgmanagement of bent bereid deze bijkomende opleiding te volgen en hiervoor te slagen binnen de drie jaar na opstart;
  • Je hebt in de laatste 6 jaar minstens 2 jaar ervaring als verpleegkundige;
  • Je hebt een rijbewijs B;
  • En vooral: je hebt een groot hart voor ouderen.
