The posting

En ALTEN México buscamos a un Científico de Datos. La persona ideal tendrá experiencia trabajando con modelos desarrollados en Python, documentación técnica, validación de datos y estandarización de modelos para su posterior puesta en producción. Colaborará estrechamente con perfiles de Machine Learning Engineering/MLOps para preparar modelos y garantizar su reproducibilidad entre entornos.

Actividades principales

  • Identificar, documentar y mapear inputs de modelos (fuentes, formatos, frecuencia) y outputs esperados.
  • Documentar features y su proceso de construcción.
  • Registrar dependencias técnicas (librerías, versiones, configuraciones).
  • Apoyar la estandarización y documentación técnica de los modelos para su despliegue en producción.
  • Colaborar con Ingenieros de ML/MLOps en la preparación de modelos para su despliegue en GCP.
  • Aplicar metodologías de validación de datos y pruebas de consistencia.
  • Identificar, analizar y documentar diferencias de resultados y rastrear causa raíz.
  • Proponer ajustes técnicos que garanticen reproducibilidad y consistencia entre entornos.
  • Generar documentación clara y reutilizable para el mantenimiento de modelos.

Requirements

  • Licenciatura en Actuaría, Matemáticas Aplicadas, Informática, Ingeniería en Sistemas o afines (titulado).
  • 3 años de experiencia mínimo.
  • Experiencia trabajando con modelos desarrollados en Python y notebooks (Jupyter).
  • Conocimientos en preparación de modelos para producción y buenas prácticas de reproducibilidad y versionamiento.
  • Manejo de Python, SQL intermedio, Paquetería Office y GIT.
  • Deseable: experiencia con GCP (Vertex AI, BigQuery) o AWS (SageMaker), así como buenas prácticas de ingeniería de software aplicadas a ciencia de datos.
