Now Hiring: Property Maintenance Technician / Residential Service Technician – 1099 Contractor

Company: Superior Contracting & Maintenance Location: Local Technician – Raleigh, NC

Superior Contracting & Maintenance is currently seeking experienced trades professionals to join our contractor network for residential repair and maintenance work in the Sarasota area.

Superior Contracting & Maintenance is a trusted repair and maintenance company with more than 13 years of industry experience. Headquartered near Atlanta, GA, we support residential and property management clients throughout AL, AZ, FL, GA, NC, OK, SC, TN, and TX.

Our teams handle a wide range of services including plumbing, HVAC, electrical, roofing, drywall, carpentry, flooring, painting, appliance installation, remediation, make-readies, and general maintenance work.

We focus on dependable communication, quality service, and building long-term partnerships with both our clients and contractors.

Most technicians complete work within their local service areas. Our maintenance division supports property management companies, while our residential division assists homeowners and project teams with repair and service needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete repairs, maintenance, and installations in trades such as plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, appliances, and general handyman services
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide effective repair solutions
  • Follow local safety requirements and industry best practices
  • Maintain communication with the Superior team throughout each project
  • Complete jobs efficiently while maintaining quality workmanship and customer satisfaction

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills and professional attitude
  • Reliable and punctual work ethic
  • Must own a truck, van, or SUV suitable for transporting tools and materials
  • Must have your own tools and be able to work independently
  • Preferred: 3+ years of experience in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, maintenance, or related trades
  • Ability to lift and handle tools, materials, and equipment as needed
  • Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation
  • Comfortable using online portal systems for work orders and updates

Required Qualifications

  • HVAC technicians must hold EPA certification
  • Active General Liability Insurance required (COI must be provided)
  • W9 with valid Tax ID required
  • Completion of onboarding and portal training required before receiving assignments
