1. Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled and experienced 3D Designer to support the 1BFS project across booth and stand design, interior design, 3D visualization, rendering, artwork, and production preparation.

The service provider will be responsible for translating creative concepts, guidelines, and design directions into accurate, visually compelling, and production-ready designs. The role requires close collaboration with internal teams, external stakeholders, suppliers, production teams, and other project partners to ensure that the approved design intent is accurately translated into physical execution.

The successful service provider should combine strong creative and technical design capabilities with excellent organization, communication, responsiveness, attention to detail, and an understanding of real-world production requirements.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Design & Visualization

  • Create high-quality 3D concepts, models, visualizations, and realistic renders for exhibition booths, stands, interiors, activations, and related project requirements.
  • Translate creative briefs, concepts, guidelines, moodboards, and design directions into professional design solutions.
  • Develop designs that are both aesthetically strong and technically feasible for production.
  • Prepare and develop detailed design files, drawings, layouts, elevations, and other documentation required for fabrication and installation.
  • Develop multiple design options where requested and incorporate feedback into subsequent revisions.
  • Support graphic design and artwork preparation when required.
  • Ensure consistency of design language, branding, dimensions, materials, finishes, and visual details throughout the project.
  • Ensure that all designs follow the guidelines, brand requirements, moodboards, and creative direction provided by the organization.

B. Production & Execution

  • Consider production, fabrication, installation, materials, dimensions, structural requirements, finishes, and practical execution during the design development process.
  • Coordinate with production and fabrication teams to ensure that designs are technically achievable and accurately interpreted.
  • Attend the site once production/installation commences, when required, to oversee the implementation of the design and ensure alignment between the approved design and the physical execution.
  • Identify discrepancies between design intent and production execution and work with the relevant teams to resolve them promptly.
  • Make necessary design adjustments during production when directed and approved by the organization.
  • Support the project team through installation and final execution where required.

C. Collaboration & Feedback

  • Work closely with the internal 1BFS team and relevant external stakeholders throughout the design process.
  • Attend online meetings, design reviews, coordination meetings, and other project meetings when required.
  • Receive and implement feedback, comments, amendments, and directions from the designated line manager and authorized project stakeholders.
  • Maintain clear communication regarding design progress, pending decisions, revisions, challenges, and required inputs.
  • Coordinate effectively with suppliers, production teams, contractors, and other external stakeholders where required and as directed by the organization.

D. File Management & Handover

  • Maintain well-organized and properly structured working files throughout the project.
  • Ensure that all relevant source files, editable files, 3D models, renders, drawings, artwork, references, and related project documentation are maintained and accessible.
  • Upon completion or termination of the service agreement, provide the organization with all open and completed working files relating to the assigned work, including editable/source files and any other materials developed for the project.
  • Files must be provided in a format that allows the organization or its appointed parties to continue working on the project without dependency on the service provider.
  • No project files, assets, designs, documents, or confidential information may be withheld following completion or termination of the engagement.
