En ALTEN México, valoramos el talento y estamos buscando a un Subsystem Test Automation Engineer - Sr para unirse a nuestro equipo.

Como Subsystem Test Automation Engineer - Sr serás responsable de asegurar la calidad e integridad del software mediante el diseño, desarrollo, ejecución y mantenimiento de pruebas automatizadas y manuales. Este puesto combina programación, análisis, depuración profunda y trabajo con documentación técnica en entornos de validación complejos.

Responsabilidades:

  • Diseñar, desarrollar e implementar casos de prueba automatizados y manuales para validar la estabilidad y funcionalidad de subsistemas y ADAS, principalmente sobre plataformas Android Automotive en sistemas de infoentretenimiento.
  • Analizar requerimientos funcionales, documentación técnica y arquitectura del sistema para definir planes de prueba integrales, considerando escenarios de integración, regresión, estrés y casos límite en entornos automotrices.
  • Ejecutar pruebas en diversos entornos de prueba, incluyendo simulación, SIL y HIL, validando el comportamiento del software, estabilidad del sistema y correcta interacción con hardware.
  • Desarrollar y mantener código de automatización en Python, aplicando principios de Programación Orientada a Objetos, estándares de calidad y prácticas de mantenibilidad para frameworks de prueba.
  • Integrar y operar bancos de prueba HIL, controlando hardware de laboratorio (fuentes de poder, relés, señales de entrada/salida) mediante scripts para soportar pruebas automatizadas de ADAS.
  • Ejecutar pruebas de validación ADAS utilizando herramientas estándar de la industria como IPG CarMaker o dSPACE, asegurando el cumplimiento de los escenarios definidos.
  • Realizar análisis, depuración y triage de defectos, identificando la causa raíz (software, entorno, automatización o hardware) y documentando hallazgos de forma clara y estructurada.
  • Refactorizar y optimizar scripts, librerías y suites de prueba automatizadas para mejorar su eficiencia, robustez y compatibilidad con cambios del sistema.
  • Validar correcciones de software mediante pruebas dirigidas y ejecuciones de regresión, analizando impacto y cobertura de pruebas para cada entrega.
  • Administrar versiones, dependencias y configuraciones del framework de pruebas usando sistemas de control de versiones, asegurando reproducibilidad y escalabilidad de los entornos.
  • Documentar resultados, evidencias y reportes de prueba, incluyendo métricas de estabilidad y defectos, utilizando herramientas colaborativas de seguimiento.
  • Colaborar activamente con equipos de desarrollo, validación, arquitectura y product management dentro de metodologías ágiles, contribuyendo a la mejora continua de los procesos de testing y calidad del producto.

Requirements

  • Título y cédula profesional en Ingeniería en Ciencias de la Computación, Mecatrónica, Sistemas Automotrices o carrera afín.
  • Sólidas habilidades de programación en Python, con un profundo entendimiento de Programación Orientada a Objetos para desarrollar, depurar y optimizar scripts (indispensable).
  • Experiencia trabajando con bancos de prueba HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) y controlando hardware de laboratorio (fuentes de poder, relevadores) mediante código.
  • Habilidad para analizar, documentar y reportar defectos de software.
  • Capacidad para ejecutar, mantener y solucionar problemas en suites de pruebas automatizadas dentro de frameworks establecidos.
  • Sólido entendimiento de metodologías ágiles y mejores prácticas de SDLC/STLC.
  • Mentalidad proactiva para identificar e implementar mejoras en los procesos de pruebas automatizadas.
  • Capacidad para analizar el alcance de regresiones y escalar los entornos de prueba para cumplir con las demandas del proyecto.
  • Más de 5 años de experiencia gestionando entornos de prueba para soportar calendarios de pruebas rigurosos.
  • Mínimo 5 años de experiencia en pruebas de software con programación.
  • Experiencia comprobada con el sistema operativo Android y las herramientas de automatización asociadas se considera una ventaja significativa..
  • Experiencia práctica en pruebas de Sistemas Avanzados de Asistencia al Conductor (ADAS) utilizando soluciones estándar de la industria como IPG CarMaker o dSPACE se considera una ventaja significativa.
  • Experiencia con Selenium o Appium se considera una ventaja significativa.
