This role is responsible for ensuring safe, high-quality, efficient, and commercially effective service delivery across client operations, including personnel, equipment, maintenance, project execution, reporting, and customer relationship management.

The Account Lead will serve as a key point of contact between EnerMech and the client, ensuring contract requirements are met while identifying opportunities to improve service delivery, strengthen client relationships, and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day delivery of assigned client contracts, including core crew, ad hoc support teams, equipment, maintenance, and project requirements.
  • Ensure EnerMech meets client expectations for safety, quality, service delivery, commercial performance, and operational excellence.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with client stakeholders, asset teams, technical teams, and internal EnerMech departments.
  • Support client planning meetings, mobilisation readiness, gate compliance, maintenance planning, and operational coordination.
  • Lead and manage contract-specific KPIs, client reporting, monthly reporting, QPRs, FPALs, and performance reviews.
  • Coordinate sales enquiries, mobilisations, demobilisations, aged debt, equipment requirements, client meetings, planning, and technical support.
  • Provide first-line technical support and coordinate client requirements, including breakdowns and urgent operational needs.
  • Liaise regularly with offshore and site-based crews regarding maintenance, operations, planning, and service delivery.
  • Travel offshore as required to conduct audits, management visits, and surveys.
  • Maintain contract maintenance records, routines, corrective actions, and scheduling within client maintenance management systems.
  • Monitor maintenance backlog and immediately escalate any safety-critical maintenance concerns to the client and internal technical authority.
  • Review and approve contract-related CTRs, work packs, invoices, and other documentation as the Contract Representative.
  • Ensure NAV and internal systems are used effectively to track, manage, and report business performance.
  • Manage work in progress, aged debt, accounts payable, invoicing, and contract financial performance.
  • Develop annual OPEX and CAPEX budgets for assigned contracts.
  • Coordinate incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action closeout.
  • Support employee relations, performance management, development, and resourcing activities in partnership with HR.
  • Promote EnerMech’s wider capabilities to add value, resolve client issues, and support business growth.
  • Maintain accurate business forecasts associated with assigned contracts.
  • Support annual and five-year crane plans and budgets where applicable to the Cranes business line.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience managing and delivering services within an offshore, industrial, oil and gas, or energy-related environment.
  • Proven experience leading operational teams and supporting client organizations while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and service delivery.
  • Strong commercial awareness with experience managing budgets, work in progress (WIP), aged debt, invoicing, and overall contract performance.
  • Experience coordinating offshore personnel, technical teams, maintenance activities, and client stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of applicable industry legislation, safety case requirements, major accident hazard management, and relevant regulatory standards (e.g., DCR, PFEER).
  • Experience with maintenance management systems, business reporting tools, CTRs, work packs, and contract administration processes.
  • Mechanical Engineering degree or relevant technical qualification preferred; equivalent industry experience will also be considered.
  • Experience within lifting, cranes, mechanical services, offshore maintenance, or asset integrity environments is highly desirable.
  • Valid offshore survival certification and offshore medical certification are required.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and relationship management skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for continuous improvement, challenge traditional thinking, and drive operational excellence.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving abilities with a proactive and customer-focused approach.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
