Proactive Health is growing across Tasmania, and we're on the hunt for an Accredited Exercise Physiologist who knows the work is about more than reps and sets. It's about helping real people move better, hurt less and get back to the things they love.

A bit about us

Proactive Health is one of Australia's largest allied health networks — 350+ clinics and still growing. Kingston is one of our Tasmanian clinics: Ben and Cathy Creese run a great team with culture at it's core. It's MDT environment is focused on delivering the best care across a varied stream of funding models. You get the backing of a national network with the feel of a local team.

Requirements

  • Assess, plan and deliver individualised exercise physiology programs
  • Work across [caseload mix — e.g. NDIS, DVA, aged care, chronic disease management, workers comp, private — confirm]
  • Partner with GPs, physios and the wider team so clients get the best possible outcome
  • Keep clear, compliant clinical notes and track real outcome measures

What you'll bring

  • Full accreditation as an AEP with ESSA (Exercise & Sports Science Australia)
  • Looking for 2 years of experience, perhaps some of that was more gym based.
  • A current Working with Vulnerable People registration (TAS) and National Police Check
  • Provider numbers, or eligibility, for Medicare, DVA and NDIS
  • Genuine warmth, and a knack for making clients feel capable
