Sommaire du poste

Nous sommes à la recherche d’une personne fiable, travaillante et soucieuse du détail pour assurer l’entretien et la propreté de notre immeuble résidentiel et de ses aires communes. La personne retenue veillera à offrir aux résidents et aux visiteurs un environnement propre, accueillant, sécuritaire et bien entretenu.

Principales responsabilités

  • Nettoyer et entretenir les aires communes de l’immeuble, y compris les corridors, halls d’entrée, escaliers, ascenseurs et salles de lavage.
  • Balayer, laver, passer l’aspirateur et épousseter les planchers et les surfaces.
  • Nettoyer les fenêtres, portes, murs et autres surfaces des aires communes, au besoin.
  • Nettoyer et désinfecter les espaces réservés aux déchets et au recyclage.
  • Ramasser les déchets et les matières recyclables et maintenir la propreté des zones de collecte.
  • Nettoyer et désinfecter les surfaces fréquemment touchées, telles que les poignées de porte, les boutons d’ascenseur et les rampes.
  • Réapprovisionner les produits d’entretien et de désinfection au besoin.
  • Signaler au gestionnaire ou au superviseur tout problème d’entretien, dommage, danger potentiel ou situation inhabituelle.
  • Participer au nettoyage des logements vacants lorsque requis.
  • Utiliser les produits chimiques et l’équipement d’entretien conformément aux procédures établies.
  • Maintenir une attitude professionnelle et respectueuse envers les résidents, les visiteurs et les collègues.
  • Effectuer toute autre tâche d’entretien ménager ou de maintenance de l’immeuble assignée.
  • Réaliser des travaux d’aménagement paysager.

Qualifications

  • Une expérience en entretien ménager ou en conciergerie est un atout.
  • Capacité à travailler de façon autonome avec peu de supervision.
  • Souci du détail et bonnes aptitudes en gestion du temps.
  • Fiabilité, ponctualité et capacité physique à accomplir les tâches d’entretien.
  • Capacité à soulever et déplacer les fournitures et l’équipement de nettoyage.
  • Connaissance et respect des procédures de santé, de sécurité et de manipulation des produits chimiques.
  • Bonnes compétences en communication et en service à la clientèle.

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Residential Apartment Building Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of our apartment building and common areas. The successful candidate will help ensure that residents and visitors enjoy a clean, welcoming, safe, and well-maintained environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain common areas of the building, including hallways, lobbies, stairwells, elevators, and laundry rooms.
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors and surfaces.
  • Clean windows, doors, walls, and other common-area surfaces as needed.
  • Clean and sanitize garbage and recycling areas.
  • Remove garbage and recyclable materials and maintain cleanliness around waste disposal areas.
  • Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces, such as door handles, elevator buttons, and handrails.
  • Restock cleaning and sanitation supplies as needed.
  • Report maintenance issues, damage, safety hazards, and unusual conditions to the Property Manager or building supervisor.
  • Assist with cleaning vacant apartments when required.
  • Follow proper procedures for handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • Maintain a professional and respectful attitude toward residents, visitors, and coworkers.
  • Perform other cleaning and building maintenance duties as assigned.
  • Carry out landscaping duties

Qualifications

  • Previous cleaning or janitorial experience is considered an asset.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and effective time-management skills.
  • Reliable, punctual, and physically capable of performing cleaning duties.
  • Ability to lift and move cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Knowledge of and ability to follow health, safety, and chemical-handling procedures.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
