Een afstudeeropdracht voor studenten Werktuigbouwkunde

ONTWIKKEL EN REALISEER EEN SUSTAINABLE SHUTTLE TONGUE

Lan Handling Technologies bouwt klant specifieke machinelijnen op uit diverse standaard modules.

Je ontwikkelt een module op basis van de huidige oplossing echter de uitdaging is, breng de verticale aandrijving (huidige pneumatisch en detectie naar “buiten.”

De shuttle is al sinds de oprichting van Lan het parade paardje, en dus een heel belangrijk onderdeel van onze product portfolio toch is deze functioneel technisch niet veel veranderd in de loop der tijd.

Het is dus tijd voor vernieuwing en daar kom jij bij kijken.

1 Doelen van de Opdracht

Het afstudeerproject wordt gerealiseerd door het behalen van de volgende doelstellingen:

  1. Probleemanalyse: Onderzoek huidige functie
  2. types, eigenschappen, afmetingen etc…
  3. transportmedium, snelheid, etc…
  4. welke type ketels kennen we?, etc…
  5. Werkcondities; temperatuur, schoonmaak protocol, etc…
  6. Toepassingsanalyse: Waar wordt deze module voor ingezet?
  7. Technische Oplossing: Het uitwerken van de functionele en technische oplossing, inclusief 3D-ontwerpen en het testen van een schaal oplossing (proof of principles).Virtueel 3D Ontwerp:
  8. Het 3D-model van de unit wordt opgebouwd. Hierin worden de verschillende bouwblokken en hoe ze passen in het containerframe gevisualiseerd.
  9. Schaalmodel Test:
  10. Het uitvoeren van de tests en het evalueren van de resultaten.
  11. Documentatie:
  12. Het opstellen van een volledige documentatieset, inclusief het Functioneel Design Specification (FDS), modulespecificaties, interface documenten en lay-out, volgens de Lan-methodiek.

Waarom zijn we op zoek naar een andere oplossing?

- Perslucht is duur in gebruik

- De luchtclinders zitten huidig aan de onderzijde wat onderhoud lastig maakt

- De tong gaat in een hete ketel +/-90 graden en vochtig, gevolg verhoogde slijtage.

- Ketel water kent diverse bestandsdelen die zeer corroderend te noemen zijn.

De projectopbouw

Het doen van een vooronderzoek, opstellen van een pakket van eisen, concept definitie en concept keuze, ontwerp en realisatie inclusief testen van een prototype. Jouw afstudeerprojectgroep bestaat uit de disciplines Werktuigbouwkunde, ondersteund door ons technology team en OPS team.

Om te zorgen dat je na 5 maanden (naast de Avans afstudeerdocumenten) een werkend schaal prototype gerealiseerd hebt, pakken we de afstudeeropdracht aan als een standaard Lan-project. Wat betekent dit? Je krijgt ondersteuning van een projectteam bestaande uit een projectmanager, technology team.

Software die we gebruiken:

· SolidWorks (/PDM), voor 3D CAD-modellen en 2D-tekeningen;

Over Lan Handling Technologies

Wij zijn gespecialiseerd in het ontwerp, de constructie, samenbouw en installatie van handling- en end-of-line (robot)oplossingen. Dat doen we voor grote internationale klanten (Mars, Nestlé, Bonduelle, Del Monte en meer) in de voedingsindustrie. Wereldwijd hebben we meer dan 500 systemen geïnstalleerd. Klanten kunnen bij ons terecht voor specifieke oplossingen, op basis van gestandaardiseerde technologie.

Goed om te weten:

  • We zijn onderdeel van het beursgenoteerde Hydratec Industries, met een focus op de markten Agri & Food, Automotive en Health Tech.
  • We hebben twee vestigingen in Nederland: Berkel-Enschot en Halfweg. In Berkel-Enschot maken we technische oplossingen voor gesteriliseerde product handling.
  • In totaal werken er bij ons zo’n 130 mensen, verspreid over de twee vestigingen.
