L’analyste en planification soutient l’équipe de planification dans la production et le suivi des rapports quotidiens nécessaires à la bonne gestion de nos comptes clients. Cette personne est responsable d’extraire les données de ventes et d’inventaire à partir des portails clients et des systèmes internes, de maintenir les rapports récurrents à jour et de tenir l’équipe de planification informée de la performance de chaque compte.

Ce poste est idéal pour une personne en début de carrière qui possède de solides compétences en Excel et qui souhaite développer son expertise en planification de la demande.

Responsabilités:

  • Extraire chaque semaine les données de ventes, d’inventaire et d’inventaire client à partir des portails clients.
  • Préparer et distribuer des rapports récurrents quotidiens, hebdomadaires et mensuels portant sur les ventes, le taux d’écoulement des produits (sell-through), l’inventaire en magasin et la disponibilité des produits.
  • Maintenir les modèles de rapports et les fichiers Excel en veillant à ce que les données demeurent exactes, à jour et cohérentes d’une semaine à l’autre.
  • Comparer les ventes réelles aux prévisions par compte et par catégorie, et signaler les produits dont la performance est supérieure ou inférieure aux attentes.
  • Surveiller les niveaux d’inventaire en magasin et en entrepôt et signaler au planificateur les produits en rupture ou en situation de surstock.
  • Produire des rapports sur le taux de service (fill rate) par client et par article, et préparer les dossiers justificatifs nécessaires à la négociation des frais liés au taux de service.
  • Compiler les tableaux de bord OTIF (On Time In Full – livraisons à temps et complètes) et analyser les écarts selon leur cause principale, notamment les expéditions tardives, les livraisons partielles, les lignes de commande annulées et les ruptures de stock.
  • Soutenir le planificateur dans les analyses de réapprovisionnement, le suivi des commandes et la préparation de comptes rendus.
  • Analyser les écarts dans les rapports ainsi que les problèmes liés aux commandes ou aux expéditions, et en assurer le suivi en collaboration avec les équipes du service à la clientèle et de la logistique.
  • Répondre aux demandes ponctuelles de rapports et d’analyses de l’équipe de planification.
  • Assumer progressivement des responsabilités supplémentaires en matière d’analyse et de planification à mesure que son expérience se développe.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum d’un (1) an d’expérience en production de rapports, en analyse ou en soutien à la planification dans le secteur du commerce de détail ou de gros; les stages et programmes coop sont reconnus comme expérience pertinente.
  • Baccalauréat en administration des affaires, finance, gestion de la chaîne d’approvisionnement, économie ou dans un domaine connexe, un atout.
  • Solides compétences en Excel, notamment avec les tableaux croisés dynamiques, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP (RECHERCHEV/RECHERCHEX) et la manipulation de grands ensembles de données.
  • Capacité à apprendre rapidement de nouveaux systèmes; expérience avec des portails clients (Retail Link, un atout), des systèmes ERP ou des outils d’intelligence d’affaires tels que Power BI ou Tableau, un atout.
  • Grande rigueur et souci de l’exactitude des données, avec l’habitude de valider les chiffres avant leur diffusion.
  • Excellentes aptitudes en communication écrite et verbale.

  • Fiabilité et réactivité; à l’aise d’être la personne-ressource pour les demandes de rapports.

  • Capacité à travailler de façon autonome sur les tâches courantes tout en sachant quand demander du soutien ou signaler une situation nécessitant une intervention.

The Planning Analyst supports the planning team with the day-to-day reporting that keeps our accounts running. This role is responsible for pulling sales and inventory data from customer portals and internal systems, maintaining recurring reports, and keeping the planning team informed on how each account is performing. It is an ideal role for someone early in their career who is strong in Excel and wants to build a foundation in demand planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pull weekly sales, inventory, and customer inventory data from customer portals
  • Prepare and distribute recurring daily, weekly, and monthly reports on sales, sell-through, store inventory, and in-stock performance
  • Maintain report templates and Excel files, keeping data accurate, current, and consistent week by week
  • Track actual sales against plan by account and category, and highlight items trending above or below expectation
  • Monitor store and warehouse inventory levels and flag low-stock or overstock items to the planner
  • Produce fill rate reports by customer, and item, and prepare the supporting cases to negotiate fill rate charges
  • Compile OTIF (on time in full) scorecard reporting, breaking down misses by root cause such as late shipments, short ships, cancelled lines, and inventory shortfalls
  • Assist the planner with replenishment reviews, order tracking, and recaps
  • Investigate and follow up on reporting discrepancies, and order or shipment issues alongside customer service and logistics
  • Complete ad-hoc reporting and analysis requests for the planning team
  • Take on additional analysis and planning responsibilities as experience grows

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in retail or wholesale reporting, analytics, or planning support; internships and co-op terms count
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Supply Chain, Economics, or related field is an asset
  • Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and working with large data sets
  • Comfortable learning new systems quickly; exposure to customer portals (Retail Link an asset), ERP systems, or BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau is a plus
  • Accurate and rigorous with data, with a habit of double-checking numbers before they go out
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
