Job Role: Appointment Setter & Inside Sales Representative (Automotive)

Compensation range: $1,100 AUD / Monthly base + uncapped commission (~$2,300 AUD/month on target, $3,800+ AUD/month as accounts grow)

Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, Perth/Manila time. Core calling hours are 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM Perth time. The remainder of the shift covers follow-ups, callbacks and confirmations. These are set hours — not flexible.

Who We Are: At Hunt St, we help Australian companies hire top remote talent in the Philippines. For this role, you will be engaged directly by the client as an independent contractor. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote so you'll be able to work from home.

Who The Client Is: The client is an Australian performance marketing agency specialising in the automotive services sector. They work with a portfolio of small business owners, primarily detailing and paint protection shops across Australia helping them generate high-quality inbound leads through paid social advertising. Their model is results-driven and fast-paced, and their clients are hands-on trade operators who need a confident, skilled closer to convert the leads being generated into booked, paid jobs.

Role Overview: We are seeking a warm, energetic, and coachable Appointment Setter and Inside Sales Representative to be the first human voice every inbound lead speaks to. This is a full-time role from day one — you will work from a proven script and flow, calling new leads the moment they come in, booking them into client calendars, taking deposits where possible, and keeping no-show rates low through consistent follow-up and confirmation.

Speed and warmth are the whole game. The single most important metric in this role is how fast you call a new lead. You will start on one client account and pick up more as the business grows — with a clear path to becoming the lead setter across the agency's full client portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Call and text inbound leads immediately upon receipt — calling within minutes is the number one performance metric
  • Work from a proven script and conversation flow while sounding natural and building genuine rapport
  • Book qualified leads into the client's calendar
  • Take deposits over the phone where possible
  • Confirm upcoming appointments to minimise no-shows
  • Handle callbacks and follow-ups throughout the shift
  • Log every call, outcome and note accurately in the CRM and Slack
  • Hit daily call and booking targets consistently

Requirements

Essential

  • Proven experience in phone sales, appointment setting, or a call centre environment
  • Clear, warm, and conversational spoken English — Australian customers must find you easy and natural to talk to
  • Genuinely coachable — daily huddles and role-plays are part of onboarding and we want someone who takes feedback and adjusts immediately
  • High energy, a real listener, and warm by nature — not a script-reader
  • Reliable high-speed internet — minimum 50 Mbps download / 20 Mbps upload, wired connection strongly preferred, plus a backup connection (mobile hotspot or secondary line)
  • Dual monitors or an ultrawide screen, a good quality headset, and a quiet dedicated workspace
  • Available to work set Perth/Manila time hours Monday to Friday — no flexibility on core hours

Desirable

  • Automotive or car-care sales knowledge
  • Experience with GoHighLevel or a similar CRM platform
  • A track record of taking deposits or closing sales over the phone

Tools & Systems

You will work across GoHighLevel (CRM), Slack, a power dialler, and a live performance dashboard. Hours are tracked using time-tracking software (Hubstaff or similar). The team is big on clear numbers and fast feedback — not micromanagement.

What Success Looks Like

  • Speed to lead — how fast new leads are called upon arrival
  • Appointments booked per week
  • Show rate on booked appointments
  • Deposits taken per week

Compensation Structure

  • Base: $1,100 AUD/month
  • Commission: $30 AUD per appointment booked with a deposit secured — flat rate, uncapped
  • On-target earnings: approximately $2,300 AUD/month, climbing to $3,800+ AUD/month as bookings grow and additional accounts are added
  • Paid weekly
