The posting

Egypt Education Platform is thrilled to announce an immediate opening for an enthusiastic and creative Art Teacher - KG Stage at our vibrant Madinaty Integrated Language School. This position is perfect for a passionate educator who can inspire young learners through art, creativity, and hands-on exploration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate art lessons for Kindergarten students, encouraging creativity and self-expression through drawing, painting, crafts, and other artistic activities.
  • Create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages children to explore different materials, techniques, and forms of artistic expression.
  • Introduce students to basic art concepts, colors, shapes, textures, and creative techniques through interactive and play-based activities.
  • Adapt art activities to suit different developmental levels, abilities, and learning styles.
  • Encourage children's confidence, imagination, fine motor skills, and coordination through hands-on art experiences.
  • Monitor and assess students' participation, progress, and creative development, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Prepare and organize art materials and resources while ensuring proper classroom organization and safety.
  • Display and celebrate students' artwork to encourage a sense of achievement and pride in their creative work.
  • Collaborate with KG teachers and colleagues to support cross-curricular learning and school activities.
  • Participate in school events, exhibitions, projects, and other activities that promote students' creativity and artistic development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field.
  • Previous experience teaching Art to Kindergarten or Early Years students is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate art education practices.
  • Creative, enthusiastic, and passionate about working with young children.
  • Ability to design engaging, hands-on, and developmentally appropriate art activities.
  • Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to create a child-centered, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other school staff.
  • Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement of teaching practices.
