The posting

Own the end-to-end visual merchandising system and seasonal master plan across all stores, translating brand and campaign priorities into executable store experiences that drive consistency, conversion, and commercial results. You lead the VM pipeline from concept to design development, fabrication, installation, maintenance standards, and post-campaign learning, in close partnership with Marketing, Retail Operations and Merchandising teams.

Responsibilities

A) Strategy and master plan ownership

  • Build and maintain the seasonal VM master plan: themes, key stories, zone priorities, asset reuse plan, and campaign calendar aligned to marketing and merchandising priorities.
  • Define store zoning principles and standard customer journey (window, entry focal, hero wall/table, mannequin story, feature fixtures).
  • Own campaign briefs and translate them into VM deliverables that stores can execute without ambiguity, working closely with global VM team.

B) Design and development

  • Lead concept development into executable design packages (2D layouts, basic 3D/mock references, graphic specs, material specs).
  • Create “design freeze” checkpoints with stakeholders, including sign-off criteria (visual, cost, feasibility, safety).
  • Produce store-specific adaptation plans where required (different footprints, fixture constraints).

C) Fabrication and sourcing (vendor ownership)

  • Own vendor strategy: selection, quoting, negotiation, production scheduling, quality checks, delivery coordination.
  • Build a reusable asset library and manage lifecycle (storage, condition tracking, refresh, end-of-life).
  • Set and manage vendor SLAs: lead time, defect rate, responsiveness, install readiness.

D) Execution and store operations

  • Own end-to-end installation plan per launch: run-of-show, store readiness checklist, safety requirements, access windows, overnight installs, photo validation.
  • Deliver store toolkits: planograms for key fixtures, mannequin styling guide, signage placement map, “what good looks like” photo references.
  • Own maintenance standards and SLAs, including weekly refresh cadence and escalation process.

E) Governance, training, and capability building

  • Design and deliver a VM training program for store teams: onboarding, campaign launch training, refresher modules.
  • Run store VM audits and coaching routines; partner with Ops and Store Managers to close gaps.
  • Create a “single source of truth” VM playbook: standards, seasonal guidelines, and campaign toolkits.

F) Measurement, reporting, and continuous improvement

  • Own VM KPI report: execution quality, delivery performance, cost efficiency, and learnings.
  • Lead post-campaign retrospectives with Marketing, Ops, and Merchandising, and convert learnings into the next master plan.

4) Operating cadence

  • Weekly: store VM audit review, issue log, maintenance SLA tracking, vendor status updates.
  • Monthly: KPI dashboard readout, cross-functional VM trade meeting (Marketing, Ops, Merch), upcoming launch readiness review.
  • Seasonal (quarterly): master plan creation, asset strategy, budget planning, vendor capacity planning, post-season retro.

Requirements

  • 5+ years VM experience in branded apparel or adjacent lifestyle retail.
  • Strong design-to-production capability: can turn concepts into fabrication-ready specs; comfortable with 3D and graphics processes.
  • Proven vendor management: quoting, negotiation, production scheduling, QC, and installation planning.
  • Strong operating discipline: timelines, checklists, and multi-store execution.
  • Languages: English plus Cantonese and Mandarin preferred for store enablement and vendor coordination.
  • Personal attributes: hands-on, proactive, agile, and thrives in fast-paced retail execution.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
