Conklin Automotive Group is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Automotive Parts Clerk to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing the inventory of automotive parts and ensuring that our service department operates efficiently. Your responsibilities will include receiving and stocking parts, assisting technicians with parts requests, and providing exceptional customer service to clients. Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and stock automotive parts and accessories
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper organization of parts
  • Assist service technicians in obtaining the necessary parts for repairs
  • Provide excellent customer service to customers inquiring about parts availability
  • Process orders and manage returns effectively
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs
  • Keep the parts department clean and organized

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; automotive knowledge is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with inventory management software
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy parts as needed
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
