POSITION SUMMARY

The Supply Management BI Analyst will serve as dedicated BI support to the Babcock Power Inc. Supply Management Department. The position will report within the IT department with a dotted-line reporting relationship to the Director of Global Sourcing.

The Supply Management BI Analyst role will be responsible for developing analytics, dashboards, and data models that provide insight into supplier performance, sourcing strategies, cost drivers, tariff exposure, and supply chain risk across Babcock Power’s global operations. The BI Analyst will work at the direction of the Supply Management leadership team to transform data into actionable intelligence that supports strategic sourcing initiatives, supplier development, and operational efficiency.

A key initial focus of this role will be to improve and expand the basic reporting currently in place, while supporting development of the Supply Management Business Intelligence Center of Excellence (BI COE). This will include refining existing dashboards, standardizing reporting across Babcock Power operating business units, and establishing consistent supply chain analytics frameworks.

As reporting tools and data models mature, the role will shift toward developing more advanced analytical capabilities, including supply chain risk management and cost modeling tools. A key early effort will be structuring and categorizing commodity inputs across major product groups, establishing a foundational dataset that identifies which products are exposed to specific commodities and regions, and to what extent. This framework will support improved visibility into cost drivers, supply chain risk, and sourcing strategy.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
