Job Title: - Bilingual Medical Insurance & Patient Care Coordinator [KH - LPS]

Working hours: Tuesday - 09:00 AM to 03:00 PM
Wednesday 09:45 AM - 06:45 PM
Thursday- 09:00 AM to 03:00 PM Central Daylight Time
Salary rate: $6-$7
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage insurance prior authorizations from submission through approval, including tracking, follow-ups, and complex reconstructive cases.
- Verify insurance eligibility, out-of-network benefits, procedure codes, and coverage requirements to support accurate patient and billing workflows.
- Manage appointment scheduling and ModMed tasks, ensuring accurate documentation and timely follow-up.
- Provide virtual scribing support during patient exams, including video-based assistance when required.
- Handle rollover calls, patient inquiries, insurance-related concerns, and other patient communications professionally and compassionately.
- Manage incoming lead calls, qualify prospective patients, and convert appropriate inquiries into scheduled appointments.
- Provide targeted front-office and virtual receptionist backup, including scheduling support and appropriate routing of post-procedure questions and concerns.
- Provide light sales support by discussing relevant aesthetic services, skincare products, HydraFacial, Fem Power, wellness services, and other practice offerings.
- Identify appropriate opportunities to increase appointment bookings and support practice revenue while maintaining a patient-centered approach.
- Collaborate with the clinical and administrative teams to ensure smooth communication and continuity of patient care.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of healthcare administrative or Medical Virtual Assistant experience.
- Fluent in English and Spanish, including the ability to communicate medical information and terminology effectively.
- Direct experience with ModMed EMR is required.
- Strong experience with insurance prior authorizations, authorization tracking, and follow-up.
- Experience verifying insurance benefits, out-of-network coverage, and procedure codes.
- Demonstrated ability to provide virtual medical scribing support and accurately document patient-provider encounters.
- Strong experience with patient communication, appointment scheduling, and medical front-office workflows.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional, patient-focused approach.
- Strong problem-solving skills, particularly when addressing insurance, scheduling, and patient concerns.
- Comfortable handling lead conversion, sales, and appropriate upselling conversations within a healthcare environment.
- Experience in plastic surgery, reconstructive surgery, aesthetics, dermatology, or a related specialty is highly preferred.
- Proactive, organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a remote environment.
Basic Requirements
- Must speak and write English clearly and professionally.
- Must have relevant work experience.
- Must be able to provide an NBI Clearance and/or Local Police Clearance before onboarding (mandatory).
- Must be available to attend video meetings with camera on when required.
