The posting

Aureol Global Connections is seeking a meticulous and reliable Bookbinder Operator to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating bookbinding machines to assemble, bind, and finish books and other printed materials to high standards of quality. Your role is vital in ensuring that products meet customer specifications and are delivered on time. If you have experience with bookbinding equipment and a keen eye for detail, we encourage you to apply!

Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and maintain bookbinding machines efficiently and safely.
  • Prepare materials such as paper, covers, and adhesives for binding processes.
  • Monitor the binding process to ensure finished products meet quality standards.
  • Inspect completed books for defects and perform necessary quality checks.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure smooth operation.
  • Keep accurate production records and report any machine malfunctions or issues.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and improve efficiency.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Bookbinder Operator or similar role in print production.
  • Familiarity with various bookbinding techniques and equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control skills.
  • Ability to operate and troubleshoot bookbinding machinery.
  • Good manual dexterity and physical stamina.
  • Basic knowledge of safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
  • Willingness to adhere to production deadlines and maintain consistent quality.
