The posting

Asia's leading robotics solutions provider, automating enterprise supply chains since 2017. We build syncOS — the industry-first no-code platform that lets manufacturers and warehouse operators integrate, reprogram, and scale automation systems without halting production or calling in specialists. Our autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) run 24/7 for global brands like Ford, Coca-Cola, and Kimberly-Clark — transforming production lines in hours, not weeks.

We started as roboticists ourselves. We know the pain of fragmented, proprietary systems that refuse to talk to each other. syncOS is our answer — and we believe it's what the industry has been waiting for. We are a young, passionate team chasing one big mission: #automateasia. If you love robots, hate inefficiency, and want to build solutions that run on real factory floors — read on.

Botsync is establishing its first US Commercial and Technology Office in Atlanta. We are looking for a Business Development Manager to support our North American market expansion. This is a hands-on business development role focused on generating qualified opportunities, developing system integrator partnerships, and converting customer requirements into paid pilots and commercial deployments.

The initial market focus will include the Southeast US, Texas, and Mexico, targeting manufacturing, automotive, 3PL, logistics, food and beverage, electronics, semiconductor, life sciences, and other industrial sectors.

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify and develop business opportunities across manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, and industrial automation
  • Build relationships with enterprise customers, system integrators, automation consultants, distributors, and technology partners
  • Generate qualified opportunities through direct outreach, referrals, customer visits, workshops, trade shows, and industry associations
  • Manage customer and partner relationships from initial engagement through commercial closure
  • Conduct business discovery with operations, supply chain, engineering, IT, and management stakeholders
  • Work with the Technical Presales Engineer to develop automation concepts, pilot proposals, commercial offers, and customer presentations
  • Position paid pilots as the first step toward full deployment and multi-site expansion
  • Identify, qualify, and develop strategic system integrator partnerships
  • Support partner onboarding, joint account planning, co-selling, and opportunity development
  • Prepare and negotiate business proposals, commercial terms, and partnership agreements
  • Maintain accurate pipeline, activity, forecast, and partner information in the CRM
  • Coordinate with Botsync's North America leadership and global teams on pricing, contracts, delivery planning, and customer commitments
  • Represent Botsync at customer workshops, Georgia Tech ecosystem engagements, automation events, and industry conferences
  • Track competitor activity, regional automation investments, and emerging customer requirements
  • Support the development of US-specific sales materials, case studies, pilot messaging, and go-to-market programs
  • During the first year, support selected key POCs and full deployments as the project manager, coordinating customers, partners, internal teams, timelines, and deliverables with support from Botsync HQ.

WHAT DOES SUCCESS LOOK LIKE

  • Contribute to building a list of 50–70 target accounts
  • Develop 25 or more qualified accounts across Georgia, Texas, and Mexico
  • Build relationships with 15 to 20 relevant system integrators
  • Help establish 2 to 3 strategic SI partnerships
  • Support the development of 3 to 5 paid pilot opportunities
  • Contribute to USD 250,000–500,000 in pilot revenue and at least one full deployment
  • Help establish Botsync's first US reference customer and published case study

Requirements

Essential:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Industrial Automation, or a related field
  • 6–10 years of experience in business development or enterprise sales within industrial automation, robotics, material handling, warehouse technology, or manufacturing solutions
  • Proven experience developing new accounts and closing complex B2B automation or technology projects
  • Strong network within manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, system integration, or industrial automation
  • Experience managing technically complex and consultative sales cycles
  • Aility to understand customer operations and position solutions based on operational and commercial value
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, proposal development, and relationship-management skills
  • Ability to work independently within a lean market-entry team
  • Experience coordinating with globally distributed technical and commercial teams
  • Willingness to travel regularly across North America
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

Highly Desirable:

  • Market exposure in the Southeast US, Texas, or Mexico
  • Experience converting pilot projects into full-scale or multi-site deployments
  • Understanding of automation project pricing, ROI development, paid pilots, and project-based commercial models
  • Expertise in developing partner-led or channel-led opportunities
  • Existing relationships with system integrators, manufacturers, 3PLs, distributors, or warehouse operations
  • Hands on experience selling AMRs, AGVs, warehouse automation, WMS/WES, robotics software, or systems integration services

Benefits

  • Competitive salary
  • Comprehensive health benefits package
  • Hustle of a young startup, always something to do and something to improve
  • Opportunities for professional development and growth into management roles

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
