Υπεύθυνο/η Προγραμμάτων Σπουδών (Programme Leader) Σχολής Τουρισμού

Περιγραφή Θέσης:

Οι κατάλληλοι υποψήφιοι θα είναι υπεύθυνοι για την καθημερινή ακαδημαϊκή διαχείριση των προγραμμάτων σπουδών της Σχολής Τουρισμού, σύμφωνα με τους κανονισμούς του Μητροπολιτικού Κολλεγίου και το σύστημα ποιότητας των συνεργαζόμενων Βρετανικών Πανεπιστημίων. Ενδεικτικά, μεταξύ άλλων, αρμοδιότητες όπως ετήσιος προγραμματισμός, ανάθεση μαθημάτων σε καθηγητές και λοιπές δράσεις που εξασφαλίζουν την υψηλή ποιότητα σπουδών και την ομαλή λειτουργία του προγράμματος.

Οι κύριες αρμοδιότητες της θέσης περιλαμβάνουν:

  • Διαχείριση των ακαδημαϊκών αναγκών των προγραμμάτων εντός του τομέα ευθύνης τους.
  • Υποστήριξη της πρόσληψης και εποπτείας του διδακτικού προσωπικού και βοήθεια στην πρόοδο και ανάπτυξή του.
  • Επίβλεψη της φοίτησης, της προόδου και της διατήρησης των φοιτητών.
  • Προγραμματισμός ενεργειών για την ομαλή ένταξη και προσαρμογή των φοιτητών στα προγράμματα σπουδών μέσω της ακαδημαϊκής συνέντευξης και της εισαγωγής (έναρξη εξαμήνου ή ακαδημαϊκού έτους).
  • Συμβουλευτική καθοδήγηση φοιτητών που αντιμετωπίζουν ακαδημαϊκές δυσκολίες και παραπομπή τους, όπως αρμόζει, στις υποστηρικτικές δομές του Κολλεγίου.
  • Συμμετοχή σε προωθητικές, αναπτυξιακές και μάρκετινγκ δραστηριότητες που σχετίζονται με τη Σχολή.
  • Συντονισμός και διοικητική υποστήριξη των διαδικασιών πρακτικής άσκησης των φοιτητών, συμπεριλαμβανομένης της παρακολούθησης της τοποθέτησης, της τήρησης των απαιτούμενων εγγράφων και της συμμόρφωσης με τις ακαδημαϊκές και θεσμικές απαιτήσεις.
  • Επικοινωνία και συνεργασία με φορείς πρακτικής άσκησης, φοιτητές και ακαδημαϊκό προσωπικό για την ομαλή οργάνωση, παρακολούθηση και ολοκλήρωση της πρακτικής άσκησης.
  • Οργάνωση εκδηλώσεων ακαδημαϊκού και επαγγελματικού χαρακτήρα σχετικές με το μάθημα.
  • Συνεργασία με την Ανώτερη Ακαδημαϊκή Διεύθυνση του Κολλεγίου.

Requirements

Απαραίτητα προσόντα:

  • Πτυχίο στο πεδίο του Τουρισμού ή της Φιλοξενίας ή Events Management ή συναφούς ειδικότητας.
  • Μεταπτυχιακός τίτλος σπουδών σε παρεμφερή επιστημονικά πεδία.
  • Διδακτική προϋπηρεσία στην ανώτατη εκπαίδευση ή στην εκπαίδευση ενηλίκων.
  • Επαγγελματική ή/και ερευνητική εμπειρία στο αντικείμενο διδασκαλίας.
  • Άριστη γνώση της Ελληνικής και Αγγλικής γλώσσας σε γραπτό και προφορικό λόγο.

Επιθυμητά προσόντα:

  • Διδακτορικός τίτλος σπουδών σε συναφές επιστημονικό αντικείμενο.
  • Δημοσιεύσεις σε έγκριτα επιστημονικά περιοδικά, βιβλία ή συνέδρια.
  • Εξοικείωση με το βρετανικό σύστημα ανώτατης εκπαίδευσης.
  • Εξειδίκευση σε διοργάνωση εκδηλώσεων (Events Management).
