Our team is growing, and we are looking for a highly motivated colleague to join our Company. The Capital Development Specialist (CDS) works in the field on a daily basis and provides operational support to the sales and program development of Robotic Surgery in Hungary. The CDS supports the period before and during installations, as well as later program development, so that every hospital that purchases a system starts operating actively as soon as possible, while existing centers remain protected from the competition. The role relieves the Capital Development Manager (CDM) of day-to-day field and administrative coordination. Clinical support in the operating room and surgeon development after installation continue to be led by the Clinical Sales Specialists.

Main responsibilities:

  • Installations: coordinating the delivery and set-up of the system and organizing the handover with the hospital (space, preparation, deadlines), so the hospital can start operating as soon as possible.
  • Hospital visits: regular presence in target centers and continuous contact with the hospital, identifying needs and opportunities. The relationship with hospital management is led by the CDM with support from the CDS. Priority is on smaller (Tier 2) hospitals, in cooperation with the clinical team on program expansions.
  • Tender monitoring: monitoring capital procurement notices across all three markets, tracking deadlines, reviewing documentation and alerting the CDM to conditions and risks, so the CDM can focus on strategy and negotiation.
  • Work on documentation: preparing and compiling tender documentation (statements, bills of quantities, technical specifications, guarantees, references, certificates), keeping orderly files per procurement, and coordinating with internal functions and partners through to bid submission.
  • Competitive monitoring: keeping a record of who is present in which center and with which system, tracking their new installations, tenders and attempts to replace our systems, and alerting the CDM in time about at-risk hospitals. This includes strategically important non-robotic (“greenfield”) hospitals – maintaining regular visibility there to monitor competitor engagement, technology-adoption trends and surgical programs, so future development opportunities are preserved. In addition, highlighting our advantages in new technologies according to specialty (dV5, SP, ION, etc.).
  • Account mapping, analysis and planning: building and maintaining stakeholder maps for target hospitals (leadership, procurement, department heads, key opinion leaders and influential surgeons by specialty) and identifying decision-makers, clinical champions and potential advocates; analyzing potential, utilization and surgical activity per center (procedure volumes, specialty mix, laparoscopic and open activity, technologies in use); and supporting the national capital opportunity plan with account summaries, opportunity assessments and regular account reviews. All account intelligence is kept up to date in the CRM, including structured reports when direct field observation by the CDM is not possible.
  • Opportunity and program-expansion development: identifying expansion opportunities in existing centers and tracking account progress, stakeholder engagement and next-step actions. In the sales phase, the CDS works alongside the CDM in presentations, demos and system test drives.
  • Customer engagement, events and materials: supporting hospital roadshows, management meetings and specialty-focused visits (visit briefings, stakeholder summaries, follow-up plans, scheduling with hospital leadership and key stakeholders); supporting congresses, workshops, customer events and educational programs (logistics, attendance, invitations, post-event follow-up); and helping prepare presentations, business cases, market analyses and other customer-facing and marketing materials used in capital sales discussions.
  • Connecting with the Clinical Team: passing field information and opportunities to the Clinical Sales Specialists and coordinating on joint activities.
  • Equipment and logistics: coordinating and managing demo equipment, instruments and accessories with hospitals and Supply Chain, and tracking orders and deliveries of demo equipment.
  • Administrative support to the CDM: preparing offers and documentation, follow-up, updating the CRM, and maintaining an archive of past procurement and prices as a basis for future offers.

Requirements

  • University degree (preferably medical, economics or technical field).
  • Existing DCAST experience / certification preferred, or willingness to obtain it quickly.
  • Experience in sales or clinical support in a healthcare environment.
  • Native Hungarian, fluent English; excellent communication skills; strong analytical and organizational ability.
  • Ethics, responsibility, professionalism, a positive attitude and team spirit.
  • Willingness to travel and make frequent field visits in the designated countries.
  • Driver's license.

Benefits

  • Work in a unique innovative healthcare ecosystem, at multi-country European level, with high standards in our work environment and ethics.
  • Opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-evolving market.
  • Opportunity for a solid career plan.
  • Access to professional education programs and talent development.
  • Opportunity to be part of a dynamic Team of professionals in seven countries.
  • Competitive compensation and benefits package.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
