We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Cashier/Food Runner who is passionate about the culinary arts and customer satisfaction. In this multifaceted role, you will be the face of our establishment, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Your primary duties will include processing transactions efficiently, taking food orders, and ensuring that dishes are delivered promptly and accurately to our patrons. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the flow of service in our fast-paced environment and will closely collaborate with our kitchen and front-of-house teams. Responsibilities

  • Process customer transactions quickly and accurately using our point-of-sale system.
  • Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner with attention to detail.
  • Greet and seat customers, providing menus and answering any questions they may have.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and cashier station throughout the shift.
  • Assist in restocking supplies as needed, including napkins, utensils, and condiments.
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding customer orders, including special requests.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently to ensure satisfaction.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in a restaurant or customer service role preferred.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly demeanor.
  • Strong multitasking abilities and the capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems or willingness to learn quickly.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and carry trays of food and beverages.
