Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Commercial Cleaner to join our team on a part-time basis focused on Freedom cleaning. The cleaner will play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall presentation of the assigned areas. This position demands a keen eye for detail and a commitment to upholding the high standards expected at Slate. The Cleaner will follow specific cleaning protocols and communicate regularly with the team lead to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out standard commercial cleaning duties: sweeping, mopping, dusting, disinfecting restrooms, trash collection, and surface cleaning.
  • Alert supervisors about maintenance needs and restocking supplies.
  • Complete all cleaning tasks within the designated hours scheduled.
  • Abide by cleaning checklists and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with the team lead using mobile applications for task assignments and updates.
  • Adjust to changing schedules and random requests swiftly.
  • Promptly report any maintenance issues or safety concerns that arise.

Requirements

  • Prior cleaning experience is preferred; experience in luxury services is a bonus.
  • Strong attention to detail with a passion for maintaining high cleanliness standards.
  • Ability to work independently while ensuring all requirements are met without constant supervision.
  • Professional appearance and a strong work ethic.
  • Reliable and punctual - takes pride in completing all tasks thoroughly.
  • Must have flexible availability to work various shifts from 1 to 4 hours.
  • Excellent communication skills; professional interactions in oral and written formats. Comfortable using smartphones and digital tools for task management (e.g., apps to provide updates and reports).
