The posting

L'histoire de Costco débute en 1976 quand l’entrepreneur Sol Price lance un concept de club-entrepôt dans le commerce de détail. Price Club, situé à San Diego en Californie, est alors le premier entrepôt-club à adhésion. Dans ses débuts, Price Club est réservé aux entreprises qui peuvent y trouver un large choix d’articles en gros.

Sept ans plus tard, fort de son expérience, Jim Sinegal fonde avec Jeff Brotman un concept similaire, Costco Wholesale. Ensemble, ils ouvrent un premier club-entrepôt à Kirkland, près de Seattle dans l’État de Washington en 1983.

Au cours des 10 années qui suivent, Price Club et Costco Wholesale ne cessent d’innover et de croître. En 1993, les deux sociétés fusionnent, constituant ainsi un groupe de dirigeants qui allait faire du club-entrepôt Costco, l’un des plus grands détaillants au niveau mondial.

En 2025, COSTCO compte plus de 860 Clubs-Entrepôts à travers le Monde...dont 2 en France.

Description du poste :

Le commis au centre auto aide les membres dans l’achat de pneus. Il/Elle répond aux questions, fait des recommandations, assure la pose, l’équilibrage, stocke et répare les pneus. Il/Elle réalise les opérations liées à la vente des pneus, et peut également participer aux opérations de marchandisage au sein de l'entrepôt.

Principales tâches et responsabilités :

  • Aide les membres à déterminer leurs besoins en pneus, répond aux questions et recommande des produits. Vend des pneus en utilisant ses compétences commerciales et ses capacités d’argumentation.
  • Facture les achats de pneus, les charge sur un chariot et les transfère vers l’aire de montage.
  • Encaisse les montants précis, en suivant les procédures relatives à la gestion des fonds, notamment en matière de documentation à fournir.
  • Calcule les montants à rembourser en cas de retour de pneus.
  • Communique avec sa hiérarchie, les achats, la logistique et l’agent en charge de la vérification d’inventaire à propos des stocks, des prix, des livraisons, des promotions et des commandes spéciales.
  • Veille au respect permanent des consignes de sécurité, des procédures internes et particulièrement celles de stockage et d’utilisation des machines, ainsi qu’à la propreté des aires de travail.
  • Participe à la mise en place du plan de marchandisage déterminé par sa hiérarchie, et plus généralement aux actions de marchandisage au sein de l'entrepôt. Participe notamment au montage de certains modèles d'exposition au profit de l'entrepôt (vélos, etc)
  • Conduit les véhicules des membres à l’aire de montage après avoir réalisé un état des lieux, et les stationne dans un endroit approprié après installation des pneus.
  • Enlève les roues avec le matériel approprié, les fait rouler jusqu’à l’appareil de pose. Utilise les machines appropriées pour retirer l’ancien pneu de la jante et en installer un nouveau. Procède à l’équilibrage du pneu, et à son remontage. Demande la vérification et la validation de sa hiérarchie ou le contrôle par un autre commis du centre du pneu, selon les procédures en vigueur, avant de faire sortir le véhicule.
  • Garantit un haut niveau de service, et particulièrement un accueil chaleureux et courtois aux membres.
  • Participe au bon fonctionnement de service, et plus généralement à celui de l’entrepôt.

Requirements

Qualifications souhaitées :

  • Une première expérience dans un centre de montage du pneu est recommandée.
  • La détention d’un des diplômes suivants est un plus : BEP/CAP mécanicien/Maintenance de véhicules

Habilitations nécessaires :

  • Permis de conduire en cours de validité requis
