They will develop compelling content, manage digital communication channels, engage stakeholders, and help drive awareness and adoption of innovative knowledge-sharing solutions.

The ideal candidate is a fast learner with an entrepreneurial mindset who enjoys solving communication challenges creatively. They understand how people consume information, what motivates different audiences, and how to deliver the right message through the right channel at the right time.

Key Responsibilities

Corporate Communications & Marketing

  • Develop and execute company-wide strategic communications and marketing plans aligned with Q2IMPACT's business objectives, brand positioning, and strategic priorities.
  • Advise senior leadership on communications strategy, including messaging, positioning, and narrative development.
  • Draft high-quality internal and external communications, including announcements, newsletters, executive talking points, employee communications, and marketing materials that reflect Q2IMPACT's institutional voice.

  • Serve as Q2IMPACT's internal subject matter expert on marketing and communications best practices, advising leadership, business development, and program teams.
  • Support the development of thought leadership products—including white papers, conference materials, presentations, blogs, and articles—in partnership with technical staff.
  • Support planning, promotion, and amplification of the Impact Point Podcast, including promotional copy, social media campaigns, and cross-platform distribution.

Department of Defense Knowledge Management Communications

  • Support strategic communications efforts for a Department of Defense Knowledge Management portal, helping drive user awareness, adoption, and sustained engagement.
  • Develop user-centered communications campaigns that promote portal launches, new capabilities, feature updates, and ongoing adoption.
  • Apply UI/UX principles to evaluate how portal content and functionality are experienced by users and recommend improvements that enhance usability and engagement.
  • Design and facilitate stakeholder engagement activities, including focus groups, workshops, interviews, and surveys to gather user insights.
  • Analyze and synthesize stakeholder feedback into actionable recommendations that inform communications strategy and future portal enhancements.
  • Draft communications materials including campaign messaging, announcements, promotional content, quick-reference guides, and launch materials.
  • Support development and execution of multi-channel outreach campaigns across email, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and other collaboration platforms.
  • Build, maintain, and update intuitive, visually engaging SharePoint pages that improve information accessibility and user experience.
  • Coordinate closely with government stakeholders, technical teams, instructional designers, and knowledge management specialists to ensure communications are accurate, timely, and aligned with long-term client objectives.
  • Develop creative approaches for engaging users, encouraging feedback, and fostering an active knowledge-sharing community around the portal.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
