Pan American Grain es una empresa que se desempeña desde hace 45 años en el negocio de importación, procesamiento, manufactura y distribución de alimentos y otros productos (Arroz Rico, Café Mami, Gasolina Party Pouch, Pan American Wine and Spirits, Harina Rico, Café del Patio, fertilizantes). Actualmente posee 4 molinos para procesar granos, 5 plantas manufactureras, 2 facilidades portuarias, 5 almacenes de granos y 1 torrefactora de café. Contamos con facilidades en Guaynabo (Oficinas Centrales), Arecibo, Cataño, Toa Baja, Vega Alta, Coamo y Guánica.

El Comprador es responsable de gestionar y coordinar la adquisición de materiales, productos y servicios requeridos por la empresa. Su objetivo principal es asegurar la disponibilidad de estos recursos en tiempo y forma, al mejor costo posible, manteniendo los estándares de calidad y cumpliendo con las políticas internas.

  • Solicitar y analizar las cotizaciones recibidas de suplidores.
  • Creación de órdenes de compra según las requisiciones provistas por los diferentes departamentos.
  • Preparar y procesar ordenes de compras
  • Dar seguimiento a las ordenes en espera
  • Mantener en record las ordenes pendientes y completadas.
  • Hacer las entradas de recibo de mercancía en el inventario electrónico.
  • Resolver discrepancias de facturas.
  • Hacer análisis del mercado para asegurar el mejor precio y disponibilidad del producto.
  • Recibo de las órdenes de compra en sistema de contabilidad y envío de toda documentación relacionada al Departamento de Cuentas a Pagar para el proceso de pago de las facturas.
  • Efectuar los arreglos necesarios con los suplidores para la compra y recibo del producto
  • Monitorear el inventario de material de empaque y crear las órdenes de compra según sea requerido.
  • Liberar mercancía mediante el procedimiento de manejo y/o pago de arbitrios a través del sistema del Departamento de Hacienda: SURI.
  • Manejo de documentacion y archivo
  • Garantizar la entrega puntual de los productos y el cumplimiento de los contratos de compra.

Requirements

  • Educación – Bachillerato en Gerencia o Administración o area relacionada.
  • Experiencia mínima de dos (2) años en labores similares o relacionadas.
  • Destrezas analíticas, presentación, negociación y manejo de tiempo.
  • Dominio de los programas de Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Outlook y Word o equivalente).
  • Excelentes destrezas de comunicación verbal y escrita. Bilingüe (Inglés/Español).
  • Posee excelentes habilidades de comunicación escrita y hablada.
  • Excelentes habilidades de organización, orientación detallada y seguimiento.
  • Fuertes habilidades de servicio al cliente y la capacidad de interactuar con personas en todos los niveles.
