The posting

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Construction Reality Capture Technician to support reality capture activities on large-scale active construction sites in and around Oslo.

You will operate 360° cameras and other reality capture equipment to systematically document construction progress. Your work will contribute to AI systems used to analyse and monitor construction projects, so accuracy, consistency, safety and reliability are essential.

This is a hands-on field role. You will spend most of your working day on active construction sites, walking across large and sometimes uneven areas and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

If you enjoy practical fieldwork, following clear procedures and being part of a technology-driven construction project, this could be a great fit.

What You'll Do

  • Operate 360° cameras and other reality capture equipment to systematically document construction sites.
  • Follow detailed technical capture instructions, including required coverage, camera positioning, routes and sequencing.
  • Walk extensively across construction sites during capture activities, including uneven terrain and changing site conditions.
  • Wear and correctly use all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Follow site-specific health, safety and environmental (HSE) procedures and instructions.
  • Communicate daily progress and promptly flag site-access issues, hazards or safety concerns to the Project Team.
  • Report equipment issues or other factors that could affect the quality or completion of a capture.
  • Handle, maintain and transport reality capture equipment responsibly.
  • Adapt to different construction environments and client-specific site requirements.
  • Complete required capture records and documentation accurately.

Requirements

What you need to bring to this role:

Must Have

  • Ability to work outdoors for extended periods and walk extensively across active construction sites.
  • Ability to work safely on uneven terrain and in varying weather conditions.
  • Strong reliability and punctuality — you show up when you say you will.
  • A safety-first mindset and willingness to follow site HSE requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to consistently follow precise technical instructions.
  • Clear and proactive communication
  • Ability to work independently while staying connected with the Project Team.
  • Ability to travel independently to assigned construction sites in and around the Oslo area.

Nice to Have

  • Previous experience working on active construction, civil engineering, surveying or infrastructure sites.
  • Experience with 360° cameras, reality capture, laser scanning or similar technical equipment.
  • Experience working with structured technical procedures, inspection processes or documentation standards.
  • Previous experience in a field-based technical role.

Safety, HSE & Site Requirements

  • Safety is a fundamental requirement of this role.
  • As you will work on active construction sites, you must comply with applicable Norwegian HSE regulations and site safety procedures.
  • Before beginning site work, you will complete the required safety training and induction. -
  • Where an HMS/HSE card (HMS-kort) is required, the Employer will coordinate and cover the required card and onboarding process.
  • All required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided fully by the employer in accordance with Norwegian working environment legislation.

Working Hours & Scheduling

  • Working hours and schedules will comply with Chapter 10 of the Norwegian Working Environment Act (Arbeidsmiljøloven).
  • The role generally operates during daytime hours (e.g., 07:00–16:00). Work schedules will be communicated in advance in accordance with statutory notice periods.
  • Overtime and rest periods will be managed and compensated in full compliance with mandatory Norwegian labor laws and the employment contract.

Compensation

Competitive hourly rate set in accordance with applicable Norwegian statutory requirements. Specific wage details and pay range will be shared with candidates prior to the interview stage.

Travel & Transportation

  • Primary work locations are construction sites in and around Oslo.
  • Where travel between site locations or travel outside standard public transit routes is required for work duties, travel expenses and/or mileage allowance (kjøregodtgjørelse) will be compensated in accordance with applicable rules and agreements.

What We Offer

  • Hands-on experience with reality capture technology in major construction environments. Training and development in reality capture and construction technology.
  • Employment terms, statutory benefits, and working conditions in full accordance with Norwegian statutory requirements.

Project Duration & Employment

This is a project-based role.

The expected duration of employment will depend on the requirements and duration of the relevant construction project. The applicable employment term, including the legal basis and expected end date where required, will be set out in the employment agreement in full accordance with Norwegian employment law

The Ideal Candidate

You are dependable, safety-conscious and comfortable working independently in a physically active field environment.

If you're comfortable working outdoors, walking extensively across active construction sites and using technology as part of your daily work, we'd like to hear from you.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
