We're Hiring | Consultant Family Medicine

📍 Location: DUBAI

💼 Employment Type: Full-Time

We are looking for an experienced Consultant Family Medicine physician to join a leading healthcare facility in Dubai. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive, patient-centered care across different age groups, with strong expertise in preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and primary care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive primary and family medicine care to patients of all age groups.
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
  • Conduct routine health assessments, preventive screenings, and wellness consultations.
  • Develop individualized treatment and long-term care plans.
  • Manage chronic conditions including diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular disease, and respiratory disorders.
  • Provide preventive healthcare, lifestyle counselling, and health education.
  • Perform appropriate minor procedures and clinical interventions within scope of practice.
  • Coordinate referrals and follow-up care with specialists when required.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure continuity of care.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and clinical quality initiatives.
  • Support patient education, disease prevention, and health-promotion programs.
  • Maintain high standards of patient safety, clinical governance, and evidence-based practice.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • MBBS/MD or equivalent medical degree.
  • Recognized postgraduate qualification in Family Medicine.
  • Board certification or equivalent recognized specialist/consultant qualification.
  • Minimum 5–10 years of post-specialization experience in Family Medicine.
  • Strong experience in comprehensive primary care and preventive medicine.
  • Experience managing patients with multiple chronic and acute conditions.
  • Eligible for DHA Consultant classification/license in Dubai.
  • Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
