Job Summary
A leading private hospital in the UAE is looking for an experienced Consultant Pediatric Dentist to provide comprehensive dental care for infants, children, and adolescents. The role involves managing routine and complex pediatric dental conditions, supporting preventive oral health, and providing a comfortable and child-friendly clinical experience.
The ideal candidate will have strong clinical expertise in Pediatric Dentistry, experience managing children with varying levels of dental and medical complexity, and a recognized Western postgraduate qualification.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive pediatric dental assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
- Manage preventive, restorative, and comprehensive dental care for children and adolescents.
- Treat dental caries, developmental abnormalities, dental trauma, and other pediatric oral conditions.
- Perform appropriate pediatric dental procedures using evidence-based techniques.
- Manage dental emergencies and traumatic dental injuries.
- Provide preventive care, oral health education, and guidance to children and parents.
- Manage anxious and uncooperative pediatric patients using appropriate behavioral techniques.
- Coordinate care with orthodontists, oral surgeons, pediatricians, and other specialists when required.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure high standards of infection control and patient safety.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, quality improvement, and professional development.

- Recognized Western qualification such as UK, American Board, Canadian, Australian, New Zealand, Irish, or equivalent recognized qualification.
- Consultant-level clinical experience in Pediatric Dentistry.
- Strong experience treating infants, children, and adolescents.
- Experience managing complex pediatric dental cases and dental trauma is preferred.
- Experience in a leading private, tertiary, or multispecialty hospital/medical centre is advantageous.
