The posting

Buscamos un(a) Country Manager para liderar la operación de Guatemala, impulsando el crecimiento comercial, la rentabilidad y el posicionamiento de la compañía en el mercado. Será el responsable de definir la estrategia del país, liderar los equipos comerciales y operativos, desarrollar relaciones con clientes estratégicos y asegurar una operación eficiente alineada con los objetivos regionales.

Esta posición requiere un líder con una sólida trayectoria en el sector de transporte, logística, freight forwarding u operadores logísticos, con visión estratégica, capacidad para desarrollar negocios y experiencia administrando operaciones con impacto directo en los resultados financieros.

Responsabilidades

  • Diseñar e implementar la estrategia comercial y de crecimiento para Guatemala.
  • Liderar el desarrollo de nuevos negocios en servicios de transporte terrestre, almacenamiento, distribución y soluciones logísticas.
  • Gestionar y fortalecer relaciones con clientes estratégicos, identificando oportunidades de expansión y crecimiento.
  • Garantizar el cumplimiento de los objetivos de ventas, rentabilidad y participación de mercado.
  • Liderar y desarrollar los equipos comerciales y operativos del país, promoviendo una cultura de alto desempeño.
  • Supervisar los indicadores financieros de la operación, incluyendo presupuesto, ingresos, costos, márgenes y P&L.
  • Asegurar altos estándares de servicio al cliente y excelencia operativa.
  • Analizar el mercado, la competencia y las tendencias del sector para identificar nuevas oportunidades de negocio.
  • Representar a la compañía ante clientes, aliados estratégicos y entidades del sector.
  • Impulsar iniciativas de mejora continua, eficiencia operativa y optimización de procesos.
  • Garantizar el cumplimiento de las políticas corporativas, normativas locales y estándares de seguridad y calidad.
  • Reportar periódicamente los resultados del país y las principales iniciativas estratégicas a la dirección regional.

Requirements

  • Profesional en Administración de Empresas, Ingeniería Industrial, Comercio Internacional, Logística o carreras afines.
  • Deseable especialización o MBA.
  • Mínimo 8 años de experiencia en posiciones de liderazgo dentro de empresas de transporte, logística, operadores logísticos o cadena de suministro.
  • Experiencia liderando equipos comerciales y operativos.
  • Conocimiento del mercado de transporte y logística en Guatemala.
  • Experiencia en desarrollo de negocios B2B y negociación con cuentas corporativas.
  • Sólida capacidad para gestionar presupuestos, indicadores financieros y estados de resultados (P&L).
  • Inglés intermedio o avanzado.
  • Disponibilidad para viajar.
