The Job in a Nutshell💡
Data Analyst joining Mrsool will be working across dispatch, courier experience, and supply operations. You will own the numbers behind how orders get assigned, how couriers join, stay, and earn on the platform, and whether the right supply is in the right place to meet demand. You'll diagnose where delivery success is lost, size the opportunities to recover it, and measure whether the changes we ship actually work. This role requires strong analytical thinking, a solid grasp of marketplace dynamics, and the ability to move between deep-dives and day-to-day operational decisions. What You Will Do💡
- Own analysis end-to-end across the supply domain: scope the question, pull and validate the data, run the analysis, and land on a clear answer
- Monitor and diagnose supply performance, including assignment speed, acceptance, courier availability, and delivery success, and identify the root causes behind changes
- Analyze the courier lifecycle, from onboarding and activation to retention, reliability, and earnings
- Evaluate the impact of product changes, incentives, and operational initiatives through experiments and impact analysis
- Own data quality for supply metrics, with checks that catch discrepancies and anomalies early
- Build and maintain source-of-truth dashboards, enable self-serve reporting, and train teams to use them
- Translate findings into clear recommendations for product, operations, and leadership
Requirements
What Are We Looking For❓
- 3+ years in an analytical role at a marketplace, logistics, ride-hailing, or on-demand delivery company
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, or a similar quantitative field
- Advanced SQL, with the ability to write and optimize complex queries on large event data and validate results independently
- Working proficiency in Python for analysis beyond SQL
- Solid statistics and experimentation fundamentals: hypothesis testing, power, and awareness of network effects in marketplace tests
- Understanding of supply-side marketplace dynamics, including utilization, courier earnings, acceptance behavior, and the trade-off between speed and cost
- Ability to break an ambiguous operational question into a structured analysis and land on a clear answer
- Strong analytical judgment: challenge assumptions, assess data quality, and push back on conclusions the numbers don't support
- Excellent communication, with the ability to explain complex findings to operations and non-technical teams
Who Will Excel❓
- Direct experience with dispatch, matching, or courier/fleet supply analytics
- Master's degree in a quantitative field
- Geospatial analysis (H3, geohash, PostGIS)
- Time-series forecasting
- Experience with Trino/Presto and BI tools such as Metabase, Looker, or Tableau
- Experience in a high-growth, fast-paced environment
