The role involves working with large and complex datasets, transforming raw data into meaningful insights, building scalable reporting solutions, and partnering with business and technical stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making.

  • Work extensively with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services to support data analytics and reporting requirements.
  • Develop efficient and optimized SQL queries in Google BigQuery for data extraction, transformation, validation, and analysis.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into scalable analytical solutions.
  • Perform data profiling, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Develop data models and analytical datasets that support reporting, visualization, and business intelligence use cases.
  • Optimize queries, dashboards, and data pipelines to improve performance and efficiency.
  • Identify data quality issues and work with relevant teams to investigate and resolve them.
  • Translate business requirements into meaningful KPIs, metrics, dashboards, and analytical reports.
  • Present analytical findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of data analytics processes, standards, and best practices.

Must-Have Skills

  • 4–8 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and cloud-based analytics environments.
  • Advanced knowledge of Google BigQuery, including SQL querying, optimization, data transformation, and large-scale data analysis.
  • Strong experience with Power BI, including dashboard development, data visualization, reporting, and KPI creation.
  • Excellent SQL skills and strong understanding of relational and analytical databases.
  • Experience working with large datasets and translating business requirements into analytical solutions.
  • Strong understanding of data quality, data validation, and analytical reporting.

Good-to-Have Skills

  • Strong knowledge of data analysis and data modelling concepts.
  • Experience with Dataplex for data management, governance, discovery, and organization within GCP.
  • Experience with Dataform for developing, managing, and transforming analytical datasets in BigQuery.
  • Understanding of modern data warehouse and data lake architectures.
  • Familiarity with data governance, metadata management, and data lineage.
  • Exposure to Python or other programming languages used for data analysis is an advantage.

Desired Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You should be comfortable working independently, managing multiple analytical requirements, and communicating complex data insights in a simple and business-friendly manner.

A combination of GCP, BigQuery, Power BI, data analysis, and data modelling expertise will be highly valued for this position.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
