Key responsibilities include:

  • Requirement Liaison & Solution Translation (20%):
  1. Shape commercially viable solutions: Partner with sales (CGBD) to understand client pain points, support feasibility assessment, data approach recommendation and scope shaping so proposed solutions are commercially viable, deliverable at the required quality level and aligned with client expectations.
  2. Inform scalable solution development: Translate client needs and project delivery learnings into clear requirements that help development and delivery teams automate repetitive activities, standardise approaches and scale data solutions effectively.
  • Hands-on Project Delivery & Execution (70%):
  1. Independently own end-to-end project delivery: Lead data delivery for custom data studies, such as Industry Benchmarking (IB) and E-commerce (EC) analysis projects, including data extraction, cleaning, integration, analytical modelling, and visualization development.
  2. Translate complex data into client-ready value: Turn complex data and market information into clear, reliable and actionable recommendations that support client business decision-making.
  3. Own data quality: Define, apply and continuously improve quality standards, validation routines and review controls for enriched data and final client-ready outputs, including an additional senior validation layer before final delivery where required, focusing on priority areas linked to client expectations, source credibility and client’s preferred external benchmarks.
  4. Uphold project governance and delivery standards: Ensure established best practices, delivery toolkits, GenAI-enabled data enrichment and processing, quality checklist and general quality governance requirements are applied consistently across the project lifecycle, providing senior oversight to support compliant and reliable execution.
  5. Cross-functional coordination: Work closely with cross-functional data teams, Consulting, Commercial teams to align project requirements, oversee key delivery and quality milestones, and proactively resolve risks to ensure smooth execution.
  6. Drive repeat business through trusted delivery: Support client retention and repeat opportunities by delivering consistently high-quality, reliable and client-ready outputs that build confidence in Euromonitor’s data solutions.
  7. Enhance AI-enabled delivery: Apply AI, GenAI and agent-based approaches to improve data extraction, enrichment, validation, analysis, visualization support and delivery efficiency. Identify opportunities to automate repetitive workflows and scale project delivery through AI-enabled solutions while maintaining quality and governance standards.
  • Enablement & Knowledge Management (10%):
  1. Build reusable assets and standards: Develop and maintain reusable methodologies, templates, code assets, playbooks, checklists, process controls and delivery standards that improve consistency, efficiency and scalability across Shanghai data consulting projects.
  2. Build capability through targeted coaching: Coach colleagues on complex data delivery and quality expectations, focusing enablement on practical standards, repeatable processes and stronger delivery judgement.
  3. Enable scalable foundational data delivery: Contribute to the development of training, toolkits and coaching to embed foundational data skills across the organisation.
  4. Enable Innovation across teams: Contribute to the testing, adoption and sharing of AI-enabled tools, reusable automation workflows and best practices across the Shanghai Consulting and Global Catalyst teams.

Requirements

  • Solid experience in data delivery and analytics, typically gained through 3-5+ years of experience in data products, data operations, analytics, market intelligence, consulting, research technology or a similar data-led environment, with a proven track record of applying quality standards, supporting complex data outputs and working effectively with stakeholders across delivery, commercial or product teams.
  • Relevant qualifications. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Data Analytics, Econometrics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline.
  • Working knowledge of modern data tools and analytical platforms; SQL, R, Python, BI or data-platform experience.
  • Exposure to AI and GenAI-enabled data enrichment or processing.
  • Strong understanding of structured and unstructured data sources, data quality controls, data lineage principles, validation approaches and practical governance in a business delivery context.
  • Experience working with large-scale or high-complexity data assets, such as public domain sources, market or trade data, company financials, online or digital signals, clickstream or other behavioural data sources.
  • Proven ability to contribute to, and increasingly lead complex, multi-source data and market research studies from problem definition through to high-quality delivery, including enrichment, transformation, validation and output readiness.
  • Ability to translate complex data and market information into clear, practical and commercially relevant outputs for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong business communication and presentation skills, with excellent communication, high autonomy, strong business acumen and fluent business English. Must have direct client-facing experience. Able to explain complex data delivery concepts simply, translate complex data into commercially relevant outputs, and build trust with senior stakeholders and clients.
  • Strong stakeholder collaboration and influence across multi-disciplinary teams (product, commercial, data and delivery teams), without relying on formal authority or line management.
  • Experience coordinating delivery across multiple regions or time zones.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
