Not dashboards. Not models. The platform that makes all of it possible - and keeps it running when things scale, break, or get messy.
You enjoy bringing structure to environments where things aren’t fully set up yet. You think about reliability, security, and scalability from the start - not after something goes wrong.
At RevoData, you work deep in the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform, designing and building the foundations that data and AI teams rely on.
We’d love to talk if:
You’ve built platforms that others depend on: You’ve designed and delivered data platforms across multiple projects - not just getting them live, but making sure they hold up under real usage.
Databricks is part of your day-to-day: You have hands-on experience setting up and improving Databricks environments for production. You structure workspaces, manage access through Unity Catalog, and design setups that are secure, scalable, and easy for teams to use - without becoming a bottleneck as adoption grows.
You automate everything that should be automated: Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Terragrunt) and CI/CD aren’t add-ons for you - they’re how things should be done. You build repeatable, reliable deployment patterns that teams can trust.
You understand what sits around the platform: Networking (VNet/VPC, private endpoints), identity, and security aren’t someone else’s problem. You design with these in mind and know how they impact real-world setups.
You’re comfortable working in client environments: You can step into different setups, quickly understand what’s there, and improve it without overcomplicating things.
Nice to have:
- Experience with Databricks asset bundles, Workflows, or advanced deployment patterns
- Databricks certifications
- Fluency in Dutch
💡 Already a Principal but new to Databricks?
We focus exclusively on Databricks, so you'll be working with your hands deep in the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform: PySpark, SQL, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, MLflow, and the latest Mosaic AI features. But we don't expect you to walk in as a power user. If you’ve built strong data platforms on other stacks and want to specialise in Databricks quickly - that's enough to get started.
For candidates without Databricks experience who want to ramp up quickly, we're willing to invest. We offer a 7 month crash course covering certifications, hands-on client project work, and an internal knowledge-sharing session to cement what you've learned. This track transitions to a permanent contract upon reaching the agreed milestones. It's designed to get you up to speed fast, with full support from the team along the way!

- We are open to hiring at Senior or Principal level. The Senior salary range is €65,000-€90,0000, and Principal is €90,000-€110,000 per year. As part of the hiring process, candidates are benchmarked during the technical assessment. If your skills and experience align more closely with a different level, we will discuss the corresponding salary band with you.
