We have a global presence, but our headquarters, and the main technical center, are in Porto (Maia), Portugal, where we develop a state-of-the-art solution for Semiconductor, Electronics, Medical Devices, and Industrial Equipment. In 2023, Critical Manufacturing expanded its footprint to Tijuana, Mexico.

  • Troubleshoot deployment issues - Dive deep into deployment challenges by analyzing logs, containers, and system events-resolving issues swiftly during or after installations.
  • Provide infrastructure consulting - Provide expert consulting on infrastructure and environment-related questions, clarifying responsibilities and reducing risks for teams and customers.
  • Collaborate Across the Ecosystem - Engage with colleagues, partners, and customers through tickets, email, and meetings, fostering productive collaboration in both synchronous and asynchronous settings.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement - Document lessons learned, corrective/preventive actions, and contribute to evolving best practices and a growing knowledge base

Requirements

  • Solid knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift for deployment and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Linux (networking, volumes, logs, services).
  • Hands-on experience with VMware or Hyper-V (VM setup, configuration, snapshots).
  • Problem-solving mindset - strong investigative skills with a log-oriented approach, able to troubleshoot independently and effectively resolve issues beyond standard workflows.
  • Excellent English skills - spoken and written.
  • Time management, organization and prioritization.
  • Attention to detail - thorough in work carried out.
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Initiative – seeking continuous improvement and implementing best practice in technology environment

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
