Ce rôle est responsable des aspects créatifs et techniques de la conception de vêtements, de la phase de concept jusqu’au produit final, y compris le développement CAD, la création de fiches techniques (tech packs) et la collaboration sur le packaging.

Le/La candidat(e) idéal(e) allie une bonne connaissance des tendances à de solides compétences techniques (adobe) et un sens aigu du design (bonneterie), afin d’assurer l’alignement des produits avec la direction de la marque et les exigences du marché.

Responsabilités

Recherche de tendances et développement de concepts

  • Effectuer une veille continue des tendances et des concepts afin d’orienter la direction saisonnière et la pertinence marché
  • Créer des histoires inspirantes, des mood boards, des palettes de couleurs et des échantillons de matériaux pour soutenir les nouveaux concepts de design

Exécution du design et développement CAD

  • Gérer le processus de design du concept initial au style final, en assurant l’alignement avec la stratégie de marque et les objectifs saisonniers
  • Être responsable de la création de croquis CAD détaillés, de la recherche design et de la présentation des différentes itérations
  • Proposer et sélectionner des tissus et garnitures appropriés en lien avec la fonctionnalité du produit et l’esthétique de la marque

Design technique et développement produit

  • Créer et maintenir des fiches techniques détaillées, en assurant une documentation précise des spécifications, matériaux et méthodes de fabrication
  • Soutenir la saisie de données et la gestion des fiches techniques dans les systèmes PLM (ex. : BlueCherry), si nécessaire

Approbations et présentations

  • Présenter les concepts finaux de style et de packaging au Design Lead et aux autres parties prenantes pour approbation
  • Participer aux processus d’approbation des produits et du packaging, en veillant à ce que tous les livrables respectent les standards internes et les échéanciers

Exigences

  • 5+ années d’expérience en design de vêtements ou de mode (spécialement dans les catégories bonnetries, un plus!)
  • Expertise des logiciels CAD (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop et autres outils pertinents)
  • Familiarité avec les systèmes PLM (BlueCherry ou plateformes similaires)
  • Excellente maîtrise de la création de fiches techniques, de la construction des vêtements et de la sélection des matériaux
  • Expérience pratique avec CLO 3D et d’autres logiciels 3D de pointe
  • Bonne compréhension des tendances mode, des préférences consommateurs et du positionnement produit
  • Excellentes compétences organisationnelles et de gestion du temps, avec un grand souci du détail
  • Capacité à travailler de manière autonome et en collaboration dans un environnement dynamique
  • Excellentes aptitudes en communication et en présentation, tant visuelles que verbales
  • Expérience de collaboration avec des équipes de packaging ou de branding (atout important)
  • Connaissance des catégories de vêtements telles que la bonneterie, les sous-vêtements et les couches de base (atout)

This role is responsible for the creative and technical aspects of apparel design from concept to final product, including CAD development, tech pack creation, and packaging collaboration.

The ideal candidate combines trend awareness with strong technical skills (adobe) and a keen eye for design (hosiery), ensuring product alignment with brand direction and market demands.

Responsibilities:

Trend Research & Concept Development

  • Conduct ongoing trend and concept research to inform seasonal direction and market relevance
  • Create compelling stories, inspirational mood boards, color palettes, and material samples to support new design concepts

Design Execution & CAD Development

  • Manage the design process from initial concept to final styling, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and seasonal objectives
  • Responsible for developing detailed CAD sketches, conducting design research, and presenting design iterations
  • Propose and select appropriate fabrics and trims that align with product functionality and brand aesthetics

Technical Design & Product Development

  • Create and maintain detailed tech packs, ensuring accurate documentation of specifications, materials, and construction
  • Support data entry and tech pack management in PLM systems (e.g., BlueCherry) as needed

Approvals & Presentation

  • Present final styling and packaging concepts to the Design Lead and other business unit stakeholders for approval Participate in product and packaging approval processes, ensuring all deliverables meet internal standards and timelines

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in apparel or fashion design (specifically in hosiery, a plus!)
  • Expertise knowledge of CAD software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and other relevant tools)
  • Familiarity with PLM systems (BlueCherry or similar platforms)
  • Strong knowledge in tech pack development, garment construction, and material selection
  • Hands-on experience with CLO 3D and other leading 3D software tools
  • Solid understanding of fashion trends, consumer preferences, and product positioning
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work autonomously and cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both visual and verbal
  • Experience collaborating with packaging or branding teams is a strong asset
  • Knowledge of garment types such as hosiery, underwear, and base layers is preferred
