Performance Marketing Specialist (Google Ads, PPC, SEO & Paid Media) – Remote | U.S. Hours

About the Role

At Pavago, one of our clients is hiring a Performance Marketing Specialist to manage and optimize digital marketing campaigns across Google Ads, PPC, SEO, paid media, and social media.

This is a hands-on execution role focused on generating measurable growth through paid and organic acquisition.

You’ll have direct ownership over:

  • Google Ads and PPC campaigns
  • SEO and organic search growth
  • Paid media optimization
  • Social media engagement
  • Conversion and lead generation performance
  • Campaign analytics, testing, and reporting

What You’ll Own

Google Ads, PPC & Paid Media – Primary Focus

Build, manage, and optimize campaigns across:

  • Google Search Ads
  • Google Display Ads
  • Remarketing
  • Performance Max (PMax)

Own campaign execution from setup through optimization, including:

  • Keyword research
  • Audience targeting
  • Campaign and ad group structure
  • Budget allocation
  • Bidding strategies
  • Conversion-focused campaign scaling

Write and test:

  • Ad copy
  • Headlines
  • CTAs
  • Creative variations

Continuously monitor and optimize:

  • CPC
  • CTR
  • CPA
  • Conversions
  • ROAS

Identify underperforming campaigns quickly and implement data-backed improvements.

SEO & Organic Growth

Conduct keyword and competitor research using tools such as:

  • SEMrush
  • Ahrefs
  • Google Search Console

Optimize:

  • Metadata
  • Page titles and headings
  • Internal linking
  • Website content
  • On-page SEO

Support:

  • Technical SEO
  • Content optimization
  • Organic growth initiatives
  • Keyword and content-gap strategies

Monitor:

  • Keyword rankings
  • Organic traffic

  • Website performance

Identify opportunities to improve rankings and increase qualified organic traffic.

Social Media Management & Engagement

Support social media growth and engagement across:

Manage and support:

  • Post scheduling

  • Comments and DMs
  • Audience interactions
  • Social content optimization

Monitor engagement, audience growth, and campaign activity to identify opportunities for improvement.

Analytics, Reporting & Optimization

Track marketing performance across:

  • Paid advertising
  • SEO
  • Organic traffic
  • Social media

Analyze performance using:

  • Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
  • Google Ads
  • Meta Ads Manager
  • SEMrush
  • Ahrefs
  • Google Search Console

Prepare clear reports covering:

  • Campaign performance
  • Marketing KPIs
  • Tests and experiments
  • Performance trends
  • Optimization opportunities
  • Recommended next steps

Maintain organized documentation of campaign changes, tests, results, and learnings.

Conversion & Performance Optimization

  • Run structured A/B tests across ads, messaging, targeting, and landing pages
  • Identify conversion bottlenecks across acquisition funnels
  • Recommend improvements to landing pages and campaign experiences
  • Test new audiences, keywords, messaging, and creative approaches
  • Scale successful campaigns while maintaining cost efficiency
  • Use performance data to prioritize optimization opportunities
