Who Are We❓

We Are Foodics! a leading restaurant management ecosystem and payment tech provider. Founded in 2014 with headquarters in Riyadh and offices across 5 countries, including UAE, Egypt, Jordan and Kuwait. We are currently serving customers and partners in over 35 different countries worldwide. Our innovative products have successfully processed over 6 billion (yes, billion with a B) orders so far! making Foodics one of the most rapidly evolving SaaS companies to ever emerge from the MENA region. Also, Foodics has achieved three rounds of funding, with the latest raising $170 million in the largest SaaS funding round in MENA, boosting its innovation capabilities to better serve business owners.

The Job in a Nutshell💡

Foodics is looking for a commercially minded, analytical and technology-forward finance leader to own the company's FP&A and Investor Relations . This is not a traditional budgeting and reporting role. The Director of FP&A and Investor Relations will be a strategic partner to the CFO, CEO, Board and leadership team — translating performance into decisions, challenging assumptions, improving forecast quality, managing the company's relationships with investors and stakeholders, and building a scalable, AI-enabled FP&A function across a business operating at the intersection of SaaS, fintech and payments.

Main Task & Responsibilities 💡

  • Own annual budgeting, long-range planning, rolling forecasts and reforecast cycles, with clear full-year landing views and disciplined forecast accuracy.
  • Lead monthly performance reviews across revenue, ARR, gross profit, margins, EBITDA, OPEX, cash flow, headcount and key operating metrics.
  • Translate results into concise executive insights: what changed, why it changed, what it means, and what management should do next.
  • Build driver-based financial models and base / upside / downside scenarios to support strategic and operating decisions.
  • Act as senior finance partner to Commercial, Product, Technology, Operations and People teams, challenging assumptions and improving resource allocation.
  • Strengthen OPEX, headcount, CAPEX and strategic-investment governance, with clear ownership and accountability across the business.
  • Evaluate pricing, new products, geographic expansion, partnerships, major commercial initiatives and M&A opportunities through robust business cases and post-investment reviews.
  • Upgrade FP&A systems, reporting and automation so the function scales with Foodics and relies less on manual spreadsheet-heavy processes.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for existing and prospective investors, lenders and other external financial stakeholders.
  • Prepare Board decks, investor updates, quarterly/annual reporting packages and ad-hoc materials that clearly articulate company performance, strategy and outlook.
  • Manage the capital-raise narrative and supporting materials (data rooms, financial models, KPI packs) in partnership with the CFO/CEO during fundraising or strategic transactions.
  • Own the investor reporting calendar, ensuring timely, accurate and consistent communication of financial and operating results.
  • Track investor sentiment, market trends, comparable company performance and industry benchmarks relevant to SaaS/fintech/payments to inform positioning.
  • Coordinate due diligence processes with investors, auditors and advisors, ensuring data integrity and consistency across all external-facing materials.
  • Use Claude to accelerate performance analysis, scenario modelling, business cases and management commentary.
  • Interrogate large financial / operating datasets and identify drivers, anomalies, trends, risks and opportunities.
  • Create repeatable AI workflows or agents for recurring FP&A tasks and ad-hoc executive analysis.
  • Combine Claude with Excel / Google Sheets, BI tools, SQL, planning systems or other finance technology.
  • Define where AI should automate work, where human judgment remains essential, and how outputs should be validated

What Are We Looking For❓

  • 10-15+ years of relevant experience in FP&A, commercial finance, business finance or strategic finance, with meaningful
  • leadership responsibility.
  • Professional qualification is mandatory: active CMA certification or CFA charter.
  • Demonstrated strong understanding of both SaaS and Fintech industries, including recurring-revenue economics, retention, churn, unit economics, payments economics, margins and the key operating drivers of technology-enabled financial
  • services.
  • Demonstrated current and sophisticated use of Claude in day-to-day finance work; basic AI exposure is not sufficient.
  • Direct partnership with senior executives and experience presenting to Executive Committee / Board / investor audiences.
  • Advanced Excel / Google Sheets; BI, SQL, planning tool and finance automation experience are highly desirable.

What We Offer You❗

We believe you will love working at Foodics!

  • We offer highly competitive compensation packages, including bonuses and the potential for shares.
  • We prioritize personal development and offer regular training and an annual learning stipend to tackle new challenges and grow your career in a hyper-growth environment.
  • Join a talented team of over 30 nationalities working in 14 countries, and gain valuable experience in an exciting industry.
  • We offer autonomy, mentoring, and challenging goals that create incredible opportunities for both you and the company.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
