In order to continue our growth, we are seeking someone for a dedicated Driver to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for transporting staff, goods, and material while ensuring a safe and efficient delivery process. Curious what your day would look like? The Driver & General Maintenance Assistant is responsible for providing transportation for employees and visitors, assisting with minor maintenance and repairs, and supporting the oversight of the corporate apartment, including coordinating cleaning services and purchasing necessary supplies. The role is also responsible for ensuring that all company vehicles are properly maintained and that related documentation and records are kept up to date.

Transportation & Vehicle Support:

  • Provide safe, timely, and courteous transportation support for company employees, visitors, and other authorized personnel.
  • Ensure corporate vehicles remain in good working condition by coordinating preventive maintenance, inspections, required documentation, technical reviews, and other operational requirements.
  • Support the transportation, delivery, and movement of equipment, furniture, office supplies, and other company materials as needed.

Office Operations:

  • Purchase groceries, office supplies, and other necessary items to ensure the smooth operation of the offices and support daily workflow.
  • Assist with organizing, moving, and installing office equipment and furniture, including boxes, monitors, desks, tables, and chairs, as well as supporting other day-to-day operational needs that arise.
  • Handle minor repairs and maintenance issues that arise in the offices, such as door issues, bathroom, lights, basic HVAC problems, and other matters that can be safely addressed in-house. Larger or more complex issues will be coordinated and handled by qualified external providers.
  • Coordinate the reception and arrival of vendors, direct them to the appropriate areas where services are to be performed, and provide on-site support and assistance throughout their visit.
  • Keep maintenance records, operational forms, and Jira tickets updated to ensure proper tracking of completed and pending activities.
  • Conduct daily walkthroughs of the company offices, including the facilities located in Provana South Tower, to verify that spaces, equipment, and services are functioning properly.

Corporate Apartment:

  • Prepare and coordinate the corporate apartment for employee and visitor arrivals, ensuring the space is clean, organized, and in optimal condition, with all essential supplies, amenities and requested items.
  • Support post-visit apartment activities, including general organization, laundry coordination, waste management, and basic maintenance.
  • Monitor and replenish household and hospitality supplies, ensuring adequate inventory levels at all times.
  • Coordinate minor repairs and maintenance requests with the appropriate internal teams or external service providers.

Logistics, Supplies & Employee Experience:

  • Receive and coordinate the delivery of corporate benefits for employees, such as fruit, breakfasts, wellness items, and other organizational culture initiatives.
  • Support the logistics and organization of corporate events, helping ensure activities are delivered successfully.
  • Assist with organizational culture initiatives by preparing Birthday Shoutouts and Fun Facts for Colombia-based employees.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of all activities and follow-up actions.
  • Maintain a service-oriented attitude and availability to support different operational and logistical needs across the company.

Administrative & IT Support:

  • Track and report expenses made with the assigned corporate card, ensuring proper submission of receipts, supporting documents, and reports to the direct supervisor.
  • Provide basic support to the IT area with tasks such as device activation, formatting, cleaning, organizing equipment, and preparing workspaces.
  • Support the daily operation proactively by assisting with different tasks according to the needs of the company and the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate company vehicles to transport staff, equipment, and materials as needed.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure the safety of passengers and the public.
  • Plan and optimize routes for efficiency and timeliness.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on vehicles, reporting any issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of trips, deliveries, and vehicle conditions.
  • Assist with loading and unloading goods, ensuring they are secured for transit.
  • Provide excellent customer service when interacting with staff or clients.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle.
  • Collaborate with the logistics team to facilitate smooth transportation operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Previous experience as a driver, maintenance assistant, facilities assistant, office support assistant, or similar role.
  • Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance, inspections, and documentation follow-up.
  • Ability to perform minor repairs, basic maintenance tasks, and general office support activities.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, discretion, and service orientation.
  • Ability to manage errands, purchases, deliveries, and logistics support efficiently.
  • Basic computer skills to update operational records, maintenance logs, and Jira tickets.
  • Basic English communication skills.
  • Availability to support different operational needs according to business requirements.
  • Ability to handle confidential information and interact professionally with employees, visitors, and vendors.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information or overhearing private conversations, demonstrating professionalism and respect at all times.

Preferred

  • Experience supporting corporate offices, shared service centers, or multinational company operations.
  • Basic knowledge of Jira or similar ticketing systems.
  • Basic understanding of IT equipment handling, including device cleaning, organization, formatting support, or workspace setup.
  • Experience supporting corporate events, employee experience activities, or office logistics.
  • Knowledge of safety practices related to driving, office maintenance, and handling company equipment.
  • Experience managing corporate card expenses, receipts, and basic expense reports.
