Build the German market. Win new business. Own the opportunity.

We’re working with an ambitious and fast-growing healthcare technology business combining technology, AI and human expertise to transform how healthcare organisations, training providers and education institutions develop talent and support their people.

The business is building innovative solutions across healthcare and international talent mobility, with a growing presence across international markets.

We’re looking for an experienced German-speaking Sales Representative to take ownership of new business growth across Germany and the wider DACH market, focusing on nursing schools, training providers and recognition examination education organisations.

You’ll have the opportunity to open conversations, build relationships, manage opportunities through to close and grow existing customer accounts. But you will also help dictate the strategy and bring market feedback into the marketing and development teams.

It’s a genuinely varied role where you can take ownership of the full sales journey and make a real impact as the business continues to grow in Germany.

The Role

You’ll play a key role in establishing and growing our Client’s business across the German market, combining outbound business development, consultative selling, opportunity management and account growth.

You’ll work with senior decision-makers across nursing schools, vocational training providers, recognition examination preparation organisations and education institutions, building relationships and creating new commercial opportunities.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Generating new business opportunities across Germany and the wider DACH market.
  • Researching and engaging senior decision-makers within nursing schools, training providers and education organisations.
  • Managing opportunities through the sales cycle, from initial conversation and qualification through to proposal and close.
  • Building strong relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Identifying opportunities to expand existing accounts and increase customer value.
  • Managing RFQs, tenders and commercial proposals.
  • Delivering engaging online product demonstrations and presentations.
  • Attending customer meetings, industry events and other face-to-face opportunities across Germany when required.
  • Maintaining an accurate sales pipeline and CRM records.
  • Working with internal teams and client stakeholders to maximise commercial opportunities.
  • Consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets and KPIs.

Requirements

We’re looking for a commercially driven salesperson who enjoys opening doors, building relationships and taking ownership of opportunities within the education and training sector.

Essential

  • Native or fluent German speaker with excellent English communication skills.
  • Currently living in Germany / DACH region.
  • Comfortable working remotely while travelling occasionally for customer meetings and events when required.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience selling into, and networking within, the German education, vocational training or professional training sector is essential.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience managing opportunities through to close.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
  • Proficient with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Microsoft Office and virtual meeting platforms.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable managing your own pipeline, territory and priorities.

Desirable

  • Experience selling technology, SaaS platforms, e-learning solutions, language learning platforms or B2B services.
  • Experience selling into nursing schools, healthcare education providers, vocational training organisations or recognition examination preparation providers.
  • Experience with RFQs, tenders and commercial proposals.
  • Experience working within a high-growth or scale-up environment.
  • Degree educated.

Why Join?

This is an opportunity to support a business at an exciting stage of its growth and play a genuine role in building the German market.

The role is remote-first, giving you the flexibility to work from home while still having opportunities to get out into the market. From time to time, you’ll attend industry events, customer meetings and networking opportunities across Germany, giving you the chance to build your network, meet customers face-to-face and represent an innovative proposition.

You’ll have the opportunity to own conversations, develop opportunities, close business and grow customer relationships, giving you broader exposure than a traditional Inside Sales position.

If you’re a German-speaking B2B sales professional with experience in the education or training sector who loves winning new business, closing opportunities and building long-term customer relationships, this could be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for.

Ready to help build something exciting in Germany? We’d love to hear from you.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
