The posting

This role is for one of our clients

Compensation: $115 per hour

We're conducting a research initiative to improve how emergency medicine physicians' work is represented in occupational frameworks. We are seeking experienced emergency medicine physicians to share insights into their day-to-day responsibilities, helping create a more accurate understanding of the profession through direct practitioner feedback.

About the Role

As an experienced emergency medicine physician, you will participate in a one-time online survey or interview focused on your daily clinical responsibilities, decision-making processes, and patient care workflows. Your expertise will contribute to improving occupational research and ensuring real-world emergency medicine practices are accurately represented.

Requirements

What You'll Do

  • Complete a one-time online survey or interview about your day-to-day work as an emergency medicine physician (approximately 30 minutes).
  • Share insights into emergency department workflows, clinical decision-making, patient stabilization, and treatment priorities.
  • Provide accurate information about the responsibilities, skills, and challenges involved in emergency medicine practice.
  • Participate in an optional follow-up survey, task, or short interview if selected (paid separately).

Who We're Looking For

  • 4+ years of professional experience practicing emergency medicine.
  • Currently practicing, or have practiced in an emergency medicine role within the past 12 months.
  • Strong hands-on experience with emergency department workflows, including triage, rapid clinical decision-making, patient stabilization, and emergency care.
  • Based in the United States.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Not Eligible

Applications will not be considered from professionals whose primary role is:

  • EMTs or Paramedics.
  • Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants working in emergency departments.
  • Registered Nurses, including Emergency Room (ER) Nurses.
  • Urgent Care Physicians whose primary practice is outside a hospital emergency department.
  • Physicians from other specialties (Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Hospital Medicine, etc.) who do not actively practice emergency medicine.
  • Medical Residents or Fellows who have not yet begun independent practice.
  • Surgeons or physicians practicing outside emergency medicine.

Why Participate

Your professional expertise will help improve occupational research by ensuring emergency medicine is represented accurately based on real-world clinical practice. This work will contribute to developing more reliable resources that reflect the responsibilities and skills required in modern emergency medicine.

Equal Opportunity

We are committed to providing equal opportunities for all qualified applicants and provide reasonable accommodations upon request.

Contract & Payment Terms

  • Independent contractor engagement.
  • Fully remote participation.
  • Flexible schedule.
  • Additional paid follow-up opportunities may become available based on project needs.
  • Weekly payments via Stripe or Wise based on completed work.
  • Unfortunately, we are unable to support H1-B or STEM OPT candidates at this time.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.
