The posting

Location: Chêne-Bougeries, Geneva Position: Live-In Nanny Start: To be discussed Contract: Long-term, full-time Child: 2.5 years old Language: Fluent English – C2 level required

About the Family

A private family based in Chêne-Bougeries, Geneva, is looking for an experienced, warm and highly adaptable Live-In Nanny to care for their 2.5-year-old child on a long-term basis.

The family is looking for someone who is confident working within a private household environment, ideally with previous experience supporting UHNW families and an understanding of the high standards of discretion, flexibility and professionalism expected in such settings.

The Role

The successful candidate will take responsibility for the child's daily care and development, creating a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing attentive and age-appropriate care for the 2.5-year-old child
  • Organising engaging activities that support the child's development, curiosity and independence
  • Taking the child outdoors and planning age-appropriate outings and activities
  • Supporting the child's daily routines, including meals, naps, bath time and bedtime when required
  • Preparing simple, fresh and nutritious meals for the child
  • Maintaining the child's spaces, belongings and wardrobe in an organised manner
  • Accompanying the family and child when required
  • Working closely and discreetly with the parents and adapting to their preferences and routines
  • Maintaining a calm, positive and professional presence within the household

Who Would Thrive in This Role?

This position would suit a nanny who enjoys working closely with a family and is looking for a long-term role rather than a temporary position. The ideal candidate will combine genuine warmth towards children with the maturity, discretion and flexibility required to work for a UHNW family.

Requirements

A Flexible & Adaptable Profile

The family's schedule can be flexible and may vary depending on their needs, so this position is particularly suited to someone who is comfortable adapting their working hours and routine when required.

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Fluent in English at C2 level, both spoken and written
  • Warm, nurturing and genuinely passionate about working with young children
  • Experienced with toddlers, with a good understanding of their developmental needs
  • Checkable references
  • Highly adaptable and comfortable with a flexible schedule
  • Discreet, trustworthy and professional
  • Organised, proactive and able to work independently
  • Comfortable working in a private and high-standard household
  • Ideally experienced with UHNW or HNW families
  • A confident cook or comfortable preparing healthy meals for the child – cooking skills would be a strong advantage
  • In possession of a driving licence – a plus
  • Looking for a stable, long-term commitment with a family

Benefits

What the Family Offers

  • Long-term position within a private household
  • Live-in accommodation
  • The opportunity to become a trusted and long-term member of the household
  • Competitive salary according to experience and profile

Accommodation

The nanny will have a private room within the family's residence, with a shared bathroom.

The family is currently considering a move and would ideally like to provide the nanny with more spacious and private accommodation in the future.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
