We are looking for an English Teacher for an International School based in Shanghai. This position is available from the upcoming 2026-27 academic year in August 2026.

Located in Minhang District, this bilingual boarding school for children aged 6-18 merges the Chinese national curriculum with the International Baccalaureate. Job responsibilities

  • Teach English subjects to students in secondary education utilizing the IGCSE and A-Level framework and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
  • Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
  • Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum
  • Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
  • Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
  • Develop supportive and safe learning environments

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher status with +3 years of teaching experience
  • Ability to teach one or two science subjects
  • Willingness to teach across 3-4 grade levels
  • Knowledge of world-class science curriculums, including UK and International, and their assessment methods
