Intern gebruik: Graad F

--- Contract type: Fixed-term contract (2 years)

Eurostar operates several high-speed train fleets capable of running across multiple countries and has announced the acquisition of new trainsets expected in the early 2030s.

Maintaining a fleet with high levels of safety, reliability, availability, and regulatory compliance—particularly with EU Commission Regulation 2019/779 on the certification of Entities in Charge of Maintenance (ECM)—is a major challenge.

Some of the current Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) are based on legacy SNCF tools used for TGV maintenance (TIGRE, W-OIL), which are reaching end-of-life and no longer meet the required IT security standards for long-term use.

As part of its development, the COSMOS project was launched in January 2026 to replace these tools and equip Rolling Stock teams with a new CMMS and maintenance processes recently deployed by SNCF for its high-speed fleet. Several SNCF entities will contribute to the COSMOS project by delivering services on behalf of Eurostar.

The Expert ECE C COSMOS acts as the functional and IT reference for the new systems to be deployed as part of the project at Eurostar, covering both Continental and Cross-Channel fleets.

Your Missions:

  • Act as the reference for new ECE C processes and associated IT systems, including drafting target processes
  • Act as the reference for maintenance data within this scope
  • Serve as the main point of contact for SNCF stakeholders delivering services within this scope for the COSMOS project
  • Support change management: deliver training, create training materials, and ensure operational presence during key project phases
  • Provide expertise within the project and monitor developments related to maintenance ordering, validation of completed work, return to service, and supporting tools
  • Provide expertise within Rolling Stock on COSMOS target tools and their usage
  • Draft new procedures for upcoming Go Lives and support updates to reference documentation
  • Prepare, organize, facilitate, and follow up on workshops with internal and external stakeholders to define new procedures and support adoption
  • Act as the main contact point for SNCF entities regarding services delivered for the COSMOS project, coordinating internal and external resources in line with project timelines
  • Ensure expertise on maintenance data management for the Eurostar fleet within the new tools
  • Be responsible for defining and delivering KPIs within the future reporting system
  • Deliver training to tool users, including development of supporting materials
  • Ensure on-site presence during Go Lives, testing phases, and data migration
  • Track and document actions in project management tools to keep stakeholders informed of progress
